Dane's Mock-Draft Show is a very realistic projection

His own ranking has Jevon Holland as #65 overall so 44 is a little rich. It would make more sense to either try to get him at 75 or trade up from there to go get him. He has Milton Williams #70 overall, a good player but he's an undersized 3T. I like to see them get that run stopper somewhere. Maybe Marvin Williams with one of the 4ths?

This is the problem when we take CB at 10. Were reaching for lesser players through the draft

trade down for extra 2 (and 3) and take Moehrig. Now you have 2 second rd picks and 2 or maybe 3 third round picks and you can get actual starters at DT, LB, and CB

That's exactly where NFL has him. Seems like a reach.

I was thinking that was a bit high for Holland.

First 4 picks were

1-Surtain
2-Holland
3-Milton Williams
4-D'Ante Smith

Top 3 have major interest from the Cowboys

I almost feel like Milton Williams is this year Cowboys' know-more player where we are trying to get a first-round talent later in the draft than taking an actual first-rounder. Don't get me wrong, if we take him, I hope he's a great player, but I feel he's that player who is going to be available in the third round and we're going to treat him like everyone missed out on a steal ala Trysten Hill.

He definitely has that Hill vibe, however he seems like a driven prospect who wants to get better. For me, if you take him, has to be 3rd rd at the earliest.

Like I said, I'll hope for the best, just like I did with Hill. I do think Williams is a more sensible pick than Hill. He has good production and wasn't just a role player like Hill was. But like Hill, there's a lot of projection. You would like to see players like him on that level just be out and out dominant and I don't see that. Of course, if he was, he'd be a first-rounder.

Hate these small schooled upside selections, nobody knows how they will perform against top competition.

I like it. I would rather get another second rounder and get Horn but I could live with it.

Also, don’t be surprised if they take Milton in the 2nd round. That’s what we do when we’re in love......
