Salads,sandwiches,cheeseburgers.
Sometimes I'll just slice one up and eat it with salt.

Cherry tomatoes in my salad, sliced tomato on a sammich, diced tomatoes in my chili, salsa, spaghetti sauce....so many uses, I can't imagine a world without them.

When the overwhelming majority of scientists (who have no reason to lie) agree with the findings and conclusions, I'm much more likely to believe them than I am to believe any conspiracy theorist or pseudoscientist.

I've never heard any astrophysicist say they know what a planet is made of, only what they think is likely. They can tell with a high amount of certainty what a planet's atmosphere is made of, by the way different light wavelengths react to it.

NASA only uses CGI to combine a lot of smaller photos into one large photo, or to eliminate superfluous information, in an effort to clarify pictures. They don't create or manufacture evidence, or try to pass off artist's renderings as unretouched photos.

There's a big difference between the people who believed something because of ignorance and hubris, and the people who believe something because they've done scientific research and testing.

I don't like ketchup on anything but dry burgers or dry meatloaf. Basically, the only use for it is to cover up the taste of something even worse.

I think the reason we haven't been able to prove the existence of Bigfoot is because they all carry Bigfoot Poop Bags, they're like the bags I use for my dogs only a lot bigger and they're camo for hiding them easier. And just like the elephants' graveyard, there's a Bigfoot Mausoleum hidden in a mountain, so we've not discover Bigfoot bones.

There is a small population which has made it hard to detect them because of two reasons. They're ugly, even to each other, so breeding only happens when they're drunk. All the Bigfoots get better looking at closing time.

The other thing keeping their population low is that they like eating tomatoes on pewter plates, pretending to be aristocrats.

This is true, but it is even more silly not to modify the theory when confronted with conflicting data. Science has been polluted or corrupted by money and politics in recent years. Half the people don't believe anything anymore, or concoct some wild conspiracy theories instead. Science is failing us right now on multiple fronts. I have to believe we will pay a price for it someday.

I don't want to get drawn into a debate on this forum, but I can think of 2 topics that are prominent in the news right now and a few more engrained in our awareness that defy science. In some cases, scientists who have offered ideas that conflict with a certain agenda have been literally cancelled. There are topics that no scientist in the US would broach in the wrong way because he knows there would be consequences. It seems in some countries offering contrary opinions is more freely accepted than here in the US. My original point was that those scientists who did not go along with the flat earth theory often faced harsh consequences for speaking out. And we do see that today when it comes to certain topics.

I think Einstein's theories and quantum physics are too obscure for the corruptors to take an interest. Think broader science, like medicine, biology, psychology, etc. I do agree, certain areas, particularly astronomy, physics, and paleontology have been particularly adaptable to new theories.

last year when california had all the wild fires, I was in montana. The smoke covered the sky in a way that you could look directly at the sun and see its shape and size without it hurting my eyes. It was a brownish color.

It was such an unusual thing, that I almost didnt believe it was the sun. It was a weird feeling at first. It was the same size as a full moon. I had never been able to sit and stare at the sun.

It is strange that the sun so far away and moon so close appear the same size.

If using the part of your finger as an inch method, i saw half a moon and the sun in the sky the other day, and the earth was not in between. They were about 6 of my finger inches apart to my eye. Why only half a moon? It wasn't half a moon like this I, it was half a moon like --, with the top half showing. With the positions of the 2, i couldnt figure out why the bottom half wasn't reflecting light, there was nothing in between
