Report: Pats calling about moving into the top 10

Keep an eye on this coz it appears at least one of the two QBs left after the 49ers pick could drop to 10.

I think they are locked in taking a corner. Don't think either of them make it to 15, thus making a deal unlikely to happen. Philly, Chargers and Vikings could all use a corner.

Read a tweet Vikes thinking of moving up if one of the top OLman drops and Chargers are also targeting OL.

Guess the question is can Fields get to 10 if passed over by the 49ers......

good chance chargers move up to 7 to take Sewell. I’ll actually be surprised if this one doesn’t happen

None of the teams you mentioned are taking a corner. Philly wants a receiver. Chargers want oline. Vikings want oline as well. They have Gladney and Hughes as starters already.

Agree about Vikes and Chargers but I think Philly can go either way....

I think the trade only works if the Patriots are REALLY patient. In theory they would want to get ahead of both Carolina and Denver, since both could conceivably draft a QB. Not to mention the fact that they would have to be confident that another team (like Chicago) wouldn’t jump them and trade up 1st.

Basically in a perfect world where a QB like Fields is sitting on the board at 10 a trade is possible...but I just don’t see teams sitting on their hands and waiting if they feel a guy is a potential franchise QB. Detroit at 7 is probably the more likely trade up spot for teams.

I agree but the problem is costing more to move to Lions and Broncos than the Cowboys at 10. If he gets there I'm guessing his floor is then the Eagles.

Unless a blue chipper (Sewell / Pitts / Chase, etc...) falls this is best case scenario for me.

I want ZERO part of a CB at 10.

Ringer updated their mock today and has Dallas trading with NE. Dallas moves back to 15 and gains pick # 46. Surtain and Horn are both off the board. He has Arizona moving ahead of Dallas at 14 for Horn. They have Dallas then taking Farley.

I like the trade.

Going with the trade scenario, at 15 I am taking Phillips or JOK there.

Then I come back at at 44 and 46 with a CB like Stokes and maybe a DT.
