If you’re a fan of Parsons, you have to be a fan of the move. On its face, it’s a great fit and value.

Time will tell I guess but for now I feel like our front seven got a big boost plus we have a chance to add another potential starter or a security blanket in case of OT injuries in round 3.

My biggest issue is the obvious failure on draft and/or financial investments. There is NO WAY the Cowboys can get out what they’ve put into the linebacker position and that’s what pisses me off.

No question this is true. But those other 2 LBs are failed investments already.

I don't think it's correct to judge this pick based on that. I would argue the opposite. That it's a mistake to pass on Parsons bc you have two scrubs at LB who were big investments. But again, I don't know a lot about Parsons. I never suspected he was in play.

That said, I can see the coaching putting Jaylon in that role just to try and get some use out of him.

Can disguise them. One play might be Parsons next might be Jaylon. No need to lock 1 player in. Time to get creative on defense

Personally I'm not cutting Jaylon. He gets tons of criticism, and at times rightfully so, but he has been available every game after his rookie year. I get the pay but until he's upgraded no way I'm making a weakness even worst
