I know a lot of people on here don’t want Dallas to take him but I think he’s a really good 3T prospect. Dallas is looking for more speed and aggression on defense(thank you Quinn!), saying that they have plenty of size.
Micha Parsons is a great step in that direction and if they decide on Williams today, he will add a ton of speed and athleticism to go along with him. Like 99th percentile athleticism. Williams has very rare athleticism and moves more like a LB than a DT.
Here is how he compares athletically to Aaron Donald:

Now, to be clear, I’m not saying that he’s Aaron Donald. Clearly, Williams would have gone top 5 if he had proven to be like him. However, his athleticism is equal to or greater than Donald’s in pretty much every category. That is a rare set of tools for a DT and he could hit big.
What makes me feel like he’s worth a second is that he played as a 5T DE in a 34 defense, which doesn’t really fit his talents like a 3T DT in a 43 scheme, like he’d be in Dallas.
As a 34 DE he was mainly a run stopper and had to deal with double teams most of the time... plus he was the best player on that D and teams paid him a lot of attention.
As a 43 3T he will be in a one-on-one situation most of the time and with his athleticism, he will be more than a handful for an OG.
He is very good against the run, plays hard and is a high character player.
Yeah, he’s a little bit of a projection to a 3T but there’s absolutely no reason that he shouldn’t be very good in that position. And that is maybe the most important position in Quinn’s defense.
I’m just putting out there that I’d like to give this guy an opportunity to use that crazy athleticism how it is supposed to be used. Not as a 2 gap player fighting through double teams.
