I guess that is the end of the Armstrong and Anae era. 2 more wasted mid round DE picks. I guess Gholston being a 3rd is better than a 4th or 5th on a DE for like 10 years in a row. Which not a one has contributed.

This is the left field pick. We are going defense heavy heavy.

Which is what I wanted. We were awful at defence. Seriously thankful that our FO is addressing defence!! This has been all defence so far. Jerry is doing well imo. Sticking to the board. Adding tools for our defence, and resisting the urge to go offense. Well done Jerry so far! Well done!

I can't speak a word about any of these players, but I love the mindset. The defense sucked so let's fix the defense. If they draft another defensive player with their last pick, that's 5 of the top 100 picks dedicated to defense.

That is not bad at face value. Whether these players are worth the pick, who knows? At least they're putting resources towards improving the defense.

Anae will probably rotate at 1T. Armstrong is probably done though.

Think the pick was early for him.
Still think he is a good rotational guy who will be in the NFL for years but again...as a rotational depth guy,

Rather would have had other players,

I'm not "hating" , what I'm trying to get across is the NFL draft is about as far removed as an absolute certainty as anything we understand
