Usually, I can at least SEE what it is that they are trying to accomplish, even if I disagree with the players chosen. This time, I just can't seem to get a handle on the plan. I just hope that they HAVE a plan.

The plan is to replace specific players.

Parsons - LVE/Jaylon
Joseph - Awuzie
Osa - Crawford
Golston - Armstrong
Wright - Lewis/Robinson

I love players who's names I cannot pronounce. This guy is gonna be a star. There are too many syllables in his name for him to fail.

Had a young man I coached with the same "name" predicament. Never could get it right........called him Alphabet. Saved us both the embarrassment.

I will admit i was underwhelmed by tonights 3rd round picks but mostly because these picks seemed to come out of left field. We need to remember these are rookies and far from finished products. The more im reading and hearing about the 2 dlinemen we took tonight, the more im feeling better about our picks. Some of yall are treating this as if this is a fantasty draft and we passed on pro bowl talent in there prime. I'm still scratching my head with the CB pick at 99 though. He seems like a traits guy you take in the 5th or 6th.

Reminds me (size wise) of La'Roi Glover one of the best (if not the best) Free Agents the Boys ever had.
If he's half the player La'Roi was then he'll be pretty good!

Not my favorite pick, but I haven't done much study on him. He's a 3-tech/end. We needed competition there. Should also get a 1-tech in this round or early fourth.

They are all trash cans at this point, might as well just draft speed and improve on STs.
Ive always agreed with the three year wait and judge concept, but must admit that Im not totally thrilled with anything today, and not sure how to really comment since I want to say something positive but having a really hard time finding the right words.
I have to really adhere to the three year wait and see rule if Im going to try and rationalize this 2nd day.

Judging by the reaction to this pick. He is now officially my favorite to be the best value pick of our draft. So much *****ing from the know it alls here...gives me alot of hope for this kid. This was one I wasn't sure about but now that I've read this thread I know we got a solid pick. Thanks guys.

If the cowboys had a history of drafting great on defense I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, but this just seems like one of those drafts that you clown a team like the Browns for. "What in the world? They could have had that guy in the 5th round".

They refuse to move up 6 spots to get the best DT (6'5", 330 LB Christian Barmore) in the draft, but they overreach once again in the 3rd for a 6'2", 285 lb. 2 down at best extremely small 3-tech???

And people wonder why fans like me absolutely ridicule these fools?



Just admit you don't know what you're doing, and sell the team already! Sheesh.

Fans sit here with 20/20 hindsight pretending the organization has to know exactly who every other team is drafting and then sneaking right in front of them to pick the guy they other team wanted.
This can be possible in the first 10-15 picks in the first round but a few rounds in the teams making the picks don't even know for sure who they are drafting until the teams in front of them go.

Fans need to spit venom when they didn't get their guy so they make statements like you made.
