If this forum hates the draft then it will probably be one of the best in cowboys history....that’s just how it goes.

C- but that is based on not knowing a lot about these players and I spend more time watching college ball than the normal person.

It's no excuse but this is not a good draft pool this year and if you've watched these guys trying to spin some of these players after they're picked, it's sad. It's been funny though because there are much better players making plays in those highlight shots than the player they're trying to spin.

This was not meant to be a quantity draft as we saw the teams that realize that trading up. They missed out on their CB, they could have recovered and gone up to JAX's spot, they need all the picks, they're rebuilding.

If y'all think yesterday was bad, wait until today, we're going to be Butch and Sundance, "who are those guys".

I have a bad feeling about this. I think we're going to wish most of these players had opted out........of the draft. They've already started on the 3rd day guys with that last pick.

Round 1 : A
Round 2: B
Round 3: F----------

Round 3 was the worst drafting I've seen in my lifetime following this sport. It surpassed any stupid things the Raiders or Lions or Bengals became infamous for doing.
I don't think that's fair, they should at least get a D- for getting an additional 3rd round pick to waste.

"D"

Had all the ammo available to rule day 2 and got cute with tweeners and projects.

We really seem have a "throw some bodies" approach to the DL instead of securing legit talent and it drives me nuts.
Look at the bright side
Every year we get really good draft grades
Maybe this year we actually got a really good draft
I’m a glass is half full guy lol

Joseph is the 9th ranked DB. A reach at 2.

The first pick in the 3rd wasn’t too bad.

OSA is the 5th DT on the board.

the last 2 picks in the 3rd were terrible. They belong in the 5th to 7th rounds.

I’m going to reserve my judgement until I see these guys take a snap in the NFL as we all should. There’s a reason we don’t work for the NFL in any capacity.
After this draft neither should Jerry, Stephen, McCarthy, Quinn, or McClay

Will and Stephen have to clean this mess up.

They have to know those picks were not the best we could do....
It’s too late this year
You just took such a gift of 3 third round picks
Thats line finding a real diamond in a Cracker Jack box
I was all for going all out to add another second which would have meant less thirds
Atleast I could have went to bed earlier

C at best.

Parsons. Fine.

Joseph. Seems like our typical high ceiling pick. Fine.

The rest? I got nothing.
Joseph is a ceiling guy? Joseph is just as talented as the corners drafted in the top 10.

It just sucks that I had hopes of a playmaking safety, a big penetrating DT (this draft was limited of those), and a physical offensive lineman. I had hope they could draft a guy who could start at guard and then potentially move to tackle. Those players are gone now. But I want a physical guard to go back to our pounding running game. Some of those guys are still around. But I liked a few options that went off the board in round 3.

Looking forward we are still missing a big playmaking DT, a future starting LT, a Playmaking safety. And more. Typically you can't find all three in one year. I was hoping for at least one this offseason.

Jerry did very little to help this team. I hope Dak can put 45 on the board each Sunday, because the defense is going to give up 40. Again, we will never see a Super Bowl until we get a real GM...so sad
