Everyone is flipping out on the 3rd round, but watching interviews and highlights of those players. I am aboard with the picks.

Golston, Odighizuwa, and Wright make plays. We had trouble stopping the run,not just up the middle but plays to the outside the box. Golston & Odighizuwa constantly in the opponent's backfield making tackles. Great pursuit players holding up RBs & QBs

Wright is a 6-4 chess piece. He can cover TEs and big WRs We didn't have a very tall corner on the active roster who could do this. He has enough speed at 4.48. Smart Football IQ to make plays. Former WR with soft hands.

So when everyone stops having their Karen moments and come back to Earth. Enjoy Day 3 of the draft guys

I tend to agree with this thread Title. We should be encouraged that we have focused on D and gotten better. Now saying that, day 3 today will be super imperative to getting over the hump. We gotta draft us some blue collar dawgs that just show up and work.Oline and safety, linebacker need to be the focus today.

Good post and points.

I think my gripe with our last pick is there we multiple guys I felt could come in and help day one. I am assuming Quinn fell in love with him being 6’4
we can make up for that last weird pick by getting it right today. Then all is forgiven.

I’m not happy. And I’m not apologizing for not liking what they’ve done in this draft. If someone else likes it, more power to ‘em. I’m not obligated to like this draft.

Agreed. I'm right there w you. I'm fine w Parsons. I think Jospeh is a boom or bust pick. I'm a gambler, so I'm ok w that. The rest, spare me

I’m not thrilled with anything they’ve done this year.

Yeah you don't like the Micah Parsons pick. You gonna hate him when he constantly makes the Pro Bowl?

Highlights are called "highlights" for a reason - I'll bet they were all good plays.

I'm fine with the Friday picks, overall. I only question how soon Wright was taken. The focus has been defense - amen to that.

Be sure to tell me about it

IF it happens.

Until then, carry on crying and name-calling about everyone not thinking the way that you do.

When the same guys run the show for decades their MO rarely changes - cheap free agents, overpaying their own players, business as usual.

Lower expectations = less frustration. I'm just glad the draft has been about defense. I never expect them to take the guys I want.

While they may be defensive players, they weren’t necessarily good defensive players. Those repeatedly went off the board right ahead of us while we sat on our hands. I’ve seen this movie before. In 2009.

I am a Cowboy fan and have been going back to the age of 5. I love it when they win and don't like it when they lose. I think the guys that win the draft, win by getting value. Yesterday, they used 3 third round picks to select 3 players they could have drafted later. That is not only not value, that is dumb. Watching the reaction by the experts tells you all you need to know. Terrible grades everywhere and most had to look these guys up to comment.

I admittedly, am a draft nerd. I watched tons of video and did plenty of simulators. TimB, you had to watch videos and interviews to talk yourself into it and you spent as much or more time than me on predraft analysis.

The Cowboys looked like fools in round 3 and most experts agree.

And some of us can admit the obvious and not feel that homer obligation to like what they did. We can actually think for ourselves.
