seem to remarkably surfaced in the past week.
I've heard a number of people complaining about this pick.. This guy blanketed pretty much anybody he faced and reportedly sports blazing speed enough to run with anybody including Tyreke Hill. People seem bent outta shape over the whole "rap career" thing.. which I suppose might be a thing.. but unless his music gets a lot better he's not going to make enough money from it to quit football. He's hardly the first player to have interests outside football.. Given the receivers the Eagles and Giants drafted and let's not forget McLaurin in DC having a guy who is as fast as any of them can only be a plus. Watching how effortlessly he runs stride for stride with the Bama Heisman trophy winner is eye opening to say the least. I'm looking forward to watching teams try him deep.. cause I don't think it's going to work out that well for them..
Those that complain about him being a rapper I think have underlying feelings. Just give the man a chance as well as all the picks.I've heard a number of people complaining about this pick.. Don’t be a turd. You know what he meant.
Awesome!
So his official homer time at UK was over 4.30---at 4.34--but in full pads, he plays sub 4.30.
Home run, baby
You can say the same about every pick in the draft. The talent is there
The question is more about priorities
You can’t be a great player if you don’t love the game
And I’m not talking about his rapping but part of the love of the game is doing what it takes to be in the game
BingoI really like the pick but I think the questions some have raised run deeper than just the "rap career" thing. He was suspended before the bowl game and then left LSU, there have been questions about his practice habits which combined with the "rap career" thing left some wondering how much he was devoted to Football, he hasn't had a lot of game experience (6 games the last 2 years?) and before/right after he was drafted some of the comments were about him not being great in "man". Luckily for us he won't be playing as much "man" as he would elsewhere. Again, I really like the kid, but I do think there was more to it than you are assuming for some
No one EVER had the same concerns about Beasleys rap career.I really like the pick but I think the questions some have raised run deeper than just the "rap career" thing. That's one thing I noticed on film about him...he would intercept a pass and be gone....that speed is real. It's on film, when a DL on his team intercepted the ball and he was 20 plus yards behind everybody and outran both teams
And Beasley actually did QUIT on us lol....No one EVER had the same concerns about Beasleys rap career.
Some have shown a seriousness about footballYou can say the same about every pick in the draft.
YeahSome have shown a seriousness about football
I wasn’t referring to the rap stuff
More the other issues

No one here ever complained about Beasely not focusing enough on football because of his rap. Never.Yes they have. Plenty of people post things like "focus on football" for things like this, as well as when he would run his mouth on Twitter. Same as with Jaylon and his clothing line, or Romo and Golf, or any other example when a player exhibits or markets an interest beyond 24/7 football.
Yes, he did. And was still a baller. Having interests/pursuits outside of football doesn't indicate success. Aaron Rodgers can shoot State Farm commercials. Leonard Davis and Mark Colombo can start a metal band. Emmitt Smith and Aikman can have bit parts in movies (Little Giants, Tony Maguire).
And Kelvin Joseph can put out rap albums when he isn't at team meetings, practice or games. Nobody knows whether he will be able to do both or choose one or the other. It's fair to worry about the LSU and sitting out the bowl game stuff. The rap interests is a dumb one.
Not like this is the only off field issue with Joseph but I don't have time for players who think they're recording artists. I want them completely focused and obsessed on football. Live it 24/7. You only get so many picks in the draft and these are the guys I want on my team.
No one questions the talent. That's obvious. It's the baggage that would have made me look elsewhere.
But if he drops a diss track on Prescott I'm willing to change my mind on the pick.
I never scammed kids with fake autographs .... I never scammed kids with fake autographs .... I never scammed kids with fake autographs .... and when I see you pass again I will #$@_&$# laugh!
