I cringe thinking about our young secondary and new Safety group having to go against the Bucs on the first week. Going against Brady, AB, Mike Evans, Godwin, and Gronk is scary for a veteran team but to have to face them in the first game many of the Cowboys will be playing together and with a new system for the first time is frightening.
I disagree with your assessment about 90%. The whole defense is going to step up starting with the DL. The defense will be most effective in a 4-3 front with Bohanna, Urban, Gallimore, & Hill pushing the middle of the pocket & keeping run plays to average gain.
D-Law, Anae & Gregory will be able to get consistent pressure on Brady with wide rushes, stunts & being just too darn quick & fast.
Matter of fact Anae is going to have four sacks in the season opener in which all of them switch position of the field in favor of Dak & the offense.
The LBs will be able to roam free with a stout DL allowing them to cover the flats & inside routes. The outside CBs will be able to play man & only one will require saftey help over the top for most of the game (Bossman Fat with 4.3speed!)
The extra safety will allow Quinn to double Gronk all of the time or cover RBs in dump off or go for blitz if he stays for protection.
