You're either blind or saw another video.

1st play: Joseph totally whiffs as he dives at the incoming WR's ankles, instead of hitting him square in the chest, wrapping up and making the tackle.

Later in the video where Bama scored a passing TD inside the Kentucky 20: Joseph looked confused. He and his DB teammate allowed a Bama WR go untouched up the numbers for an easy catch and run into the end zone.

I never saw Bohanna put pressure once on the QB during the pass. I did see Bohanna have a few 1-on-1s where he got stuffed. Even saw him get pushed back a good 5+ yards on double teams during run plays.

I could go on, but you get my drift. Totally the opposite of what you "saw".
What an ugly post.
You really don't like people not agreeing with you do you?
It sounds like you didn't post this so people could discuss what they saw. Instead you wanted your opinion to be thrown down like a fact and everyone to bow down to your feet.

I don't even agree with this dude and I haven't even watched the video. Just read your nasty tone towards the first person who didn't share your opinion.

Lighten up brother. Its just a football forum in the offseason.

Clearly he is one of those that believe if you do not pressure the QB you are a complete waste of flesh.

Also clearly someone that does not understand that when you are as putrid against the run as we were last year being able to rush the passer MATTERED LITTLE AT ALL.
Clearly, you failed to see Bohanna being pushed 5 yards backwards. Clearly, you failed to see Alabama run it up the middle and even score up the middle. Clearly, you can't handle the truth of what the film is showing so you have to mock the messenger since it's too painful to admit what you're seeing.

So you haven't seen the video, but you're taking sides on a video you just admitted you haven't seen?

Your evaluation of tape does not coincide with people who actually watched the game...are you looking at highlights or actual game film? Maybe there’s a disconnect.

So, Bohanna (#95) gets pushed back ONCE at the 3:05 mark by not only 2 'Bama OL, but also hi teammate and another 'Bama OL the fell into their path - 5 man scrum. The person CONSTANTLY getting pushed back in the video is #50, NOT #95. As for getting gashed up the middle, this game looked very reminiscent of the clips Voch showed for Bohanna - he (or others) clogs his gap responsibilities only to have the LB/S NOT take care of theirs. I've seen MANY runs up the gut on defenses where the DL does their job only to have the LB's whiff in their assignments - you know, like our LB's did plenty of times last year (see Lamar Jackson's TD run up the gut o 4th down).

I'm not saying these kids are gonna be All-Pro's as rookies, but you are really reaching with this critique.

For Joseph the OP really needs to explain the disconnect between his evaluation and the dominant performance suggested in post 18 (and elsewhere) against Devonta Smith. Because if my CB's "bad game" is shutting down the top WR on the other team and getting a pick, I'll take that all day.

Only thing I saw there was that Nick Saban is a very respectful coach. He’s a Pro’s pro. And when he’s up by 46 points against a 3-4 team in the 4th quarter, he’s going to run every down. And Kentucky was playing their linebackers way off the ball, what the hell was that. Some of the plays weren’t even 7 in the box... the box was empty

“Shutting down” is a bit extreme... Joseph only covered him on 2 passes in his direction, and he was not on Smith the other 9 times Smith went for 144 and 2 TDs. For whatever reason, Kentucky didn’t want Joseph on him

When an undefeated many time national championship team plays a team that went 5-6 the 5-6 team, and their players, are going to look bad.

Every time....

Shutting down in the times he was asked to cover him. Also, he didn't have a completion against him the whole game and was only targeted 3 times. So Alabama didn't challenge him much either with Smith or any of the other 5 star WRs they had on their roster.

Good grief, Joseph is going up against incredibly talented WRs. And it's still Bama that has overwhelming talent everywhere plus great coaching, so everyone is going to get beat at times.

As for Bohanna, a lot of us love his potential and the fact that we finally went after a truly big bodied NT type, but he's a 6th round pick. You can't expect him to be Vince Wilfork, especially not from day one. That's completely unrealistic. All of these guys are rookies who need a lot of experience plus physical development.

His job is not to put pressure on the QB. His job is to demand double teams so that the LBs can run free. Exactly what he did on the majority of plays I saw.

I can find games were JJ Watt in his prime looked bad. You play football long enough and it’s gonna happen to you.
Exactly..there aren't that many dieing sanders coming out of college....the goal is to make.much more positive plays than negative plays....it's the NFL....

The whole point of Big Bo is to keep the guards from driving our LB’s backwards like they have been doing for years around here.

Didn't Alabama have 5 first round picks this year on offense alone? Am I remembering that wrong? I'm not sure Dallas' defense last year could have stopped the Alabama offense.

If Bohanna had dominated against Alabama, he would have been drafted MUCH higher. He isn't going to be a flashy guy. He needs to eat up space and blockers. He could possibly be the pick that makes your linebackers look like they belong in the NFL again. As far as KJ, you evaluated him far worse than the professionals that looked at the game tape.

I'm still rooting for these guys to be players. Bohanna is one of my favorite picks in this draft right now.
