We took Chauncey Golston wtih the third round pick we added by trading back in the first round. He seems grounded with his head on straight in this interview. Sometimes a player comes in and just listening to him you think he could be a productive starter for the the Cowboys, Sean Lee and Darren Woodson come to mind. Golston was highly productive at Iowa and I'm really rooting for him.

Golston, who showed positional flexibility along the defensive line in college, got on the practice field at The Star for the first time along with the other rookies for minicamp on Friday. After practice, he told the media where the coaching staff has initial plans of playing him.

"I'll be focusing on [defensive] end right now," Golston said. "That's all we've gotten to so far. But overall just trying to get better at learning the defense and being a better first-step player."

Totally agree. I liked his interviews better than anyone else's. Seems like an extremely solid guy.

one of my favorite picks from our draft.
helluva player.
in the iowa games i watched...he was almost always in the backfield...harassing the qb.
good vs the run too.
glad we got hin.

Didnt like the pick. Better players on the board. Great at nothing. Solid is maybe a good word for him. Ceiling is probably a rotational backup. I was never big on Crawford, but he did have value with his flexibility.

Definitely not a "helluva player".

Sean Lee was the leader of our defense/great linebacker and Woodson is a borderline HOF player. Golston is a rotational backup at best. I do like his attitude and leadership abilities.

I always wanted to be from Switzerland myself.

Not sure about the armed forces but ok.

At 269, he seems more of a DE than a DT. It'll be interesting to see if he's better at the DE spot than what Crawford was.
