Do Cowboys have the Best WR unit in NFL ?
Where would you rank Cowboys WR unit among the top WR units in the entire NFL ?

After some thoughts, this is how I would rank Cowboys WR unit vs other top WR units.

2) Cleveland (Landry, Beckham, Higgins)

3) Arizona (Hopkins, AJ Green, Kirk, Fitz)

4) ATL (Ridley, Julio J, Gage)

5) Dallas (Cooper, Lamb, Gallup)

6) Buff (Diggs, Beasley, Sanders)

7) KC chiefs (Hill, Robinson, Hardman)

8) Bucs (Evans, A. brown)

9) Vikes (Jefferson, Thielen)

10) Washington (McLaurin, Samuels)

Honorable Mention:
Green bay (Adams,Vasquez)
Denver (Sutton Jeudy)
Rams (woods, Kupp, Jefferson)

Nah....how can you be the best receiving core in the league when you lead the league in drops the past 2 years? They are hype until proven otherwise.

And on another note...how did you leave off the Steelers? They have arguably the best in the league.

Juju, Claypool, Ray Ray, James Washington and Diontae Johnson? I'd give it to them honestly.

That is a strong list but I wouldn't say there is a best because it will fluctuate from game to game and I don't think you can leave the TE's out of it as part of the corps.

The Cowboys are for sure in the conversation.
  • Tampa Bay: You left off Pro Bowler...Chris Godwin
  • Pittsburgh: you forgot the loaded Steelers WR group--Smith-Schuster, D Johnson, Claypool, Washington
  • Washington is truly awful. Samuels was WR3 at best on Carolina...and Panthers now have Anderson, DJ Moore, and Terrace Marshal
  • Green Bay has Adams then drops into WR3 or WR4 range

Antonio Brown, at this point in his career, is not TB's second WR. That would be Chris Godwin.

Buffalo has a cat named Diggs and a few other guys. I'd put them ahead of the WFT.

Couple different ways to look at it, Minnesota has a 1300 and a 1400 yard receiver. Dallas doesn’t even have a 1200 yard receiver

But I’d put Arizona 1. Hopkins is the best in the world, AJ Green and Larry Fitzgerald are a better 2&3 than any other team has
Naw man...maybe 3 years ago.....AJ Green and Larry Fitz are not the best at anything right now. Hopkins for sure.

We arent close to number 1, but probably fall somewhere around after 8.

We have a legit squad, but not the best

Why'd you leave out Chris Godwin from the Bucs?
Their receiving corp. is better than ours.
And why would you not compare an equal number of receivers? Three-to-three, instead of two-to-three?

As for the question, it's hard to judge receiving corp because receivers' productivity depends on the quarterback and the offensive philosophy. I think we have strong group, but we'll learn more about where they rank with Dak back under center.
I doubt the Bucs would be as explosive sans Brady. We saw this vividly when Winston was quarterback.
The Packers should be higher on the list because of Aaron Rodgers. If we had him as quarterback, our receivers would be the top trio. So would Cleveland's and so would Arizona's or the WFT's.

Anyway, as is often said around here, I "like our guys." ;)

Agree with you about Minny. Should be way higher, and higher than us. But do we even know what AJ Green has left? Fitzgerald is solid but again a good deal off his high. There's no higher 1, 2 than Seattle's. He has that correct I think.

Yeah you could argue Buccs have teh best in the league. Godwin is arguably their best or 2nd best receiver.

Our guys would be higher if we had Aaron Rodgers at quarterback? That makes no sense...why would you gauge a wide receivers talent based on the QB lol? Browns don't need Aaron Rodgers to show OBJ, Higgins and Landry are studs lol.

Dallas has a legit WR corp which is what really matters. Having said that IMO you could argue they are anywhere from top 8 to top 5.

they don’t need to be the best to beat out other teams’ 2’s and 3’s. Fitz is still one of the best slot receivers in the nfl

Lockett is a very good receiver, but not one of the NFL’s best no. 2’s. While Metcalf has had a great start to his career, Michael Thomas is already historically great. He and a broken lawn chair should be up there too
