Sacks are always volital from year to year depending on what's going on with the team (outside the particular player's capability).

Shaquil Barrett, for example, went from a crazy league leading 20 sacks in 2019 to 8 in 2020. You think TB is mad at their investment ($17M)?

Prime Ware would deserve Lawrence money. Lawrence doesn’t deserve Lawrence money. That’s an objective truth
 

DT/DE's are paid similarly and the sack title commonly alternates between DE/DT/ & 3-4 OLBs.

That is interesting....seems like a lot of the best pass rushers or "sacks" guys seem to play on good teams. Or teams in the playoffs hunt anyway with a few exceptions.
Pitt and LA have 2 guys each in the top 10 in sacks......
