And you know this because of his 225 reps?

No, I read an article about him benching over 400 and squatting over 700.

It makes me think being "under sized" might not be a big deal. Of course strength fades after so many reps. Having a little more weight may help to combat fatigue.

The most impressive thing for me with Osa, besides that he can pronounce his last name, is I've seen him carry a C/G double team down the line of scrimmage to clog up running lanes. He is remarkably powerful for a 280 lb DT. That wrestling background has him a master of leverage.

No quick twitch though. Marinelli gives him the gas face.

It’s interesting because Osa almost seems like a 1T in a 3T’s body.

I don't care how strong Osa looked in college, when he comes up against the likes of Quinton Nelson at 285lbs he's going to get rag dolled, and there isn't nothing he can do about it until he builds that NFL size and weight room strength. So for at least the 2021 season, and possibly 2022 season I have Gallimore as likely to be the better player but 2023 is gonna be Osa's year to shine. I'm actually expecting a big season from Gallimore this year but I'm not sure he ever going to be a top DT in the NFL where as I could see Odigizuwa getting there (in time).

He already has NFL strength, probably the strongest guy on the team. Id love to see him with a couple more years of NFL strength and conditioning though.

Osa hasn't even hit the playing field of a game yet. Not even a preseason game.
i dunno how would we know if he is better than Gallimore now.

And we dunno if the various scheme fits are gonna work out for Gallimore in a way that works best for him.... or limits him (per 3-4 base, two gap control scheme)

With working with past 3 tech type guys such as Grady Jarrett in ATL,.. i'm vastly entrusting Quinn & co. will scheme-fit Gallimore to his sets and packages as they come.
i just hope Gallimore (who struggled vs run as a rookie) can fit in as a 3-4 DE in Quinn's base set.
i hope he can 2 gap, and i hope he can emerge as a breakout player and impact starter

He has innate athleticism, explosiveness and high motor but was lacking in technique and game experience. Those areas should continue to come as he continues to
adjust to the NFL. Some players are fortunate to be placed with certain coaches that well scheme to players strengths and skill sets.... Some players are Not fortunate
to have idea coaches, schemes and situations.

It's 2023, bros. Things are looking up. Jerry's older. McCarthy's fatter. Prescott's in prison. The Cowboys are emerging as serious contenders with a young QB and a developing defense. They even drafted a running back that they can find a helmet for.

But who is the better player on this new and improved defense? Gallimore or Odigizumomma?

Pick one and only one. I'll grade your response later.

Cowboys!
I am not sure they can be compared. I see OO as more of a tweener because he can play inside at out. Galimore is a pure DT. I think in 2023 they both have a good roll.

I mean I would think a second year player would be better all things equal...

They are not comparable , Osa is a rookie and Galiimore is 2nd year,
Now if you ask Gallimore or Hill , I will take Gallimore, LOL

by 2023, I'll go with Odigizuwa. Mostly because of my admitted overinflated bias toward draftees.

For this upcoming season, probably Gallimore, but I cannot stifle my hope for draft picks to be better down the road than is probably reasonable.

Slightly undersized, but freakishly strong. I'm curious to see how that factors into his play, but I imagine he steps in as a rookie and is already the strongest player on the team.

You're crazy, I doubt he's even in the top 10. What makes you think he's stronger than guys that are 30-50lbs bigger and have been in the NFL system for a number of years. You seriously think he's stronger than Zac Martin?

Benching > 400lbs
Squatting > 700lbs tell me I'm not crazy, and you are in fact misinformed.
