Or maybe they just value him being around the organization and want to use his mind/skillset accordingly. Maybe it's as simple as they feel the team is better off with him in the room than without.
Well who wouldn't?

What a presence in that room.

"Creating a role" for McAdoo suggests he owes a buddy a favor and I know Jerry is fine with that.

They are paying him for nothing if you read between the lines of what was said, but it doesn't count against the cap, so fine by me. No one is going to listen to him anyway.

I agree with him on Gregory.

Could be good olé boy system. Also MM may want to improve planning for games. Mcadoo has been around McCarthy, so he knows how he likes the preparation detailed.

Could be helpful?

Toss me a rec of your faves.

Love throwing musicals at my wife that she would never see coming (she's a movie newb).
Just saw Camelot for the 1st time two weeks ago.
She's obsessed with Moulin Rouge.

Thought about throwing Chicago at her. I think she'll like it.

West Side Story (1961)
The Sound of Music (1965)

And, my all time favorite,

The King and I (1956)

For me, because Cooper has been that guy since he’s been here (and before) and I’m not sure that he will easily give up being top dog.

To me its about numbers and talent. He also plays in the slot. I think he will get more opportunities to make big plays there. I think his YAC is going to show up more this year.

Cool.

It will be another interesting storyline to keep an eye on this year.

Even if it's not what you meant, and it isn't lol.....I don't at ALL miss that stupid Garrett jet sweep.

Awful.
I had no issue with it. My only issue was he would literally put Dwayne Harris or Lance Dunbar in the game when he would want to run it....it was predictable. Nothing worse than stupidity and predictability in a offense.

Right...right....and they would fake it badly at times.

Which WR do you sit in order to put Pollard in? Which WR can opponent defenses cover better than Pollard?

I would rather see a traditional two RB set with Pollard occasionaly moving to WR in a pre-snap motion. Maybe that's the plan, but covering a RB lined up as a WR doesn't seem too daunting.

we can use Pollard as the 5th wr in certain packages. Spread defenses out, make them choose their poison.Wouldnt need to take anyone off the field.
