I mean, the guy's spent a lot of time in his life getting in his own way. I wouldn't be shocked if, faced with the chance to play his first full season with his first normal offseason and with it coinciding with a crucial contract year, he found a way to screw things up for himself or catch a bad break again. We always count on PROgression. No one ever considers REgression. Everyone is proclaiming 10+ sacks, etc. but he's a question mark, IMO. Can he be depended on for a full season, having never played one?
I hope he has a monster year, so good that we start to worry he's pricing his way out of here. But I wouldn't be surprised if he disappoints again. Guy's in his 7th season since being drafted and he turns 29 during this season. Eventually you need to actually make good on your potential.
