I will be wishing him the best of health. The NFL has relaxed it's stance on marijuana and Randy is a good place mentally. I truly believe he is talented enough to take care of the rest, without question he has double digit sack ability. Pressuring the quarterback, tackles for loss and his ability to chase down plays from behind will all be on display with a healthy season.

Suspended because he didn't abide by the collectively bargained agreement between owners and the NFLPA....
Yep. Everyone knows that and most reasonable people know it was a stupid rule backed by a worse law that history will not look fondly on.

Gregory will definitely have a huge role this year, being counted upon as Quinn’s defense’s LEO pass rusher.

Between the league’s change in policy and the opportunity being presented to him in this defense, the stars are aligned for him to have a career year in a contract season.

While I agree with the headline and expect big things from Gregory this year....

In the case of Taylor, cocaine and prostitution are still frowned upon in many scenarios.
It shouldn't be. It no one's F-ing business.

Have a few Doctors and Lawyer friends that smoke in front of me all the time, been doing it for years,, very professional and successful.
If your already stupid and smoke every day than the pot just probably enhances the stupidity, might be the opposite for other end of the spectrum,, but its just a thought.

Agreed.

I work with actual rocket scientists. Like JPL, MIT, scientists.

You would be surprised at the amount of geniuses that rather use a plant than poison themselves with alcohol.

Rules are still rules even if they are dumb.

If you're risking a job that's paying your millions of dollars because you can't stop messing around with a "plant" then the problem is deeper then that.
Trying to alleviate the symptoms of a real mental health condition is not "messing around". I guess he should have have just gotten on some antidepressant with ridiculous side effects. That would have been okay because it was authorized by a pill pusher with a stethoscope...

The defensive staff made a huge mistake last year by now allowing Randy Gregory to be allotted the reps to distinguish himself as starting material at DE. Now that Dan Quinn has been hired, Randy will finally be given the opportunity he deserves. At long last, the defense has wised up. o_O

He can do whatever he wants, but you have to abide by the rules that your employer sets forth or you cannot work there.

It's simple and it doesn't really matter if you agree with it or not. Every job has rules in place. If you don't like it get another job.

I agree that the rule is dumb, but it's still the rules in place. You aren't owed a job there.

Trust me, I know. My job has a zero tolerance policy and it's BS.

Those suspensions were BS. Lawrence Taylor would have never become the player that he was if the same rules were in place back then. LT would have been suspended every year. Gregory is a talent comparable to Jason Taylor and now he will finally get the chance to reach his potential.

Hope so, we need him!

Randy is going to have a big year and be fun to watch

But more importantly, the qb is going to get hit from all directions. Dlaw and Gregory coming from the sides, and the new dt's taking up blocks will free our Lb'ers up the middle, who can rush the qb.

Coverage has improved with lb'ers and db's, so that should add another second or so

I am looking forward to seeing how the defense improves from last year
