Fact! The Cowboys are my team!
Yeah that really screams marquee franchise doesn’t it?
Fact! The Cowboys are my team!
Let me get this straight, according to you I’m not a fan because we disagree on what a marquee franchise is? You better look up the definition of a marquee franchise and then post again.
No, I just wonder why anyone would bother if they were positive their team had no chance whatsoever.
If I'd worked my whole life to get to the NFL, it doesn't matter who drafts me, I'm going to talk about that team as if they were the best ever. Because they just made my dreams come true.We have advanced past the first round in the playoffs three times in 25 years so why do new draft picks act so excited to go to a losing franchise with 25 years of playoff irrelevancy? It’s like being drafted by the Lions or Bengals except we have five super bowl wins a quarter of a century ago.
As an NFL draft pick, I know I’m gonna bank big time, but as a player I want rings. You ain’t getting a ring in Dallas. Ever
What surprises me Arturo, is how many fans are ok with this team just being what it’s been. But fans are certainly not the problem.Fans don’t care about revenue, biggest stadium, artwork, practice facilities, or net worth. Fans care about one thing: winning which means deep playoff runs.
Thirty plus years of the Jones cartel has lowered fan expectations to “I hope we’re competitive” & “maybe we can win the east”. Super Bowl or bust mentality is only valid for teams that have produced deep playoff runs in the past five years. Super Bowl? Hell we can win a div playoff game, at least not in the past 25 years.
What does is the fact that the networks put us on more nationally televised games than any other team. That's what a marquee franchise is. Drop Mic..Yeah that really screams marquee franchise doesn’t it?

The problem is the family running this team. They to want to win- but not at all costs. They want to win “their way”, and when their way fails for decades, they arrogantly double down on themselves. Zero accountability. But they’re as comfortable, fat and happy as a baby with his bottle. Regardless of results. Hope and luck are our best friends.

If I got drafted by the Dallas Cowboys it would be the happiest day of my life. Because I know that even if we never make the playoffs, as long as I’m at least marginal at my position I’m probably going to have a 100m$ contract waiting for me down the line
Man, you're really pushing my buttons.
When a draft pick says that the Cowboys are a marquee team they mean greatest, leading, foremost, best, finest, outstanding, excellent, distinguished, prominent, eminent, important, top tier, topmost, famous, renowned, celebrated, illustrious, towering, supreme, superior, exceptional, unrivaled, unsurpassed, unequaled, inimitable, incomparable, matchless, peerless and transcendent.....to put it simply.
The Cowboys started in 1960. Marquee teams like the Cowboys, Lakers and Yankees transcend any specific time interval or era. I know that is the rule because I just made it up.I totally agree unless you are referring to the last 25 years.
I don't know why, open to answers : (We have advanced past the first round in the playoffs three times in 25 years so why do new draft picks act so excited to go to a losing franchise with 25 years of playoff irrelevancy? Your age or your stupidity is showing. That's meant as an observation, not a criticism. Being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys is NOT like being drafted by the Bengals or Lions. We have advanced past the first round in the playoffs three times in 25 years so why do new draft picks act so excited to go to a losing franchise with 25 years of playoff irrelevancy?
