Rick Carlisle -- who led Dallas to the 2011 NBA championship -- informed Mavericks owner Mark Cuban today that he won't be returning as coach next season, Carlisle told ESPN. Carlisle had two years left on his contract. He spent 13 seasons as Mavericks coach.

I had heard about that, and I was thinking, with several players like Jason Kidd becoming coaches and doing actually decently, he wouldn't be a bad choice for the Mavs.

I dont think Kidd is highly regarded as a HC

The more Mark Cuban opens his mouth (politics) the happier I am to see the Mavs fail.
