News: ESPN Analyst Has Blunt Message For Dak Prescott, Cowboys

I've been saying this all off season on here. Everyone just pretends it doesn't happen.

He's good against the division and trash against everyone else.

The majority of Daks damage comes against division teams and bottom feeding teams. It's not just playoff teams either, Daks bad against teams above .500.

I love this forum.
Dak haters and Dak slobbers going at it as always.
All is right in the world. :)
I'm not even a Dak hater. I'm more of a "earn your praise" type of fan.

I'm a Dak doubter.

I say all the time that I want him to prove me wrong, but if you don't claim that Dak can walk on water then you're labeled a "hater"

This bugs you?

You love it if you're a bigger fan of Dak then you are of the Dallas Cowboys.

Judging by your username I can guess where you stand on that issue....

This isn’t the first time you’ve accused others of being a bigger fan of Dak than the cowboys.

It’s a pretty weak argument, when you have to make complete assumptions about a person
and their fandom.

You should think about how some people on the board unfairly call you a “hater” because of your arguments in regards to Dak.

yet here you are being hypocritical by insinuating I’m not a cowboys fan, due to my arguments about Dak and/or my username.

Someone can criticize Dak and not be a hater.

someone can have Dak as their favorite player, yet still be a real cowboys fan.

Fair enough.

I take it back. Respect.

29 touchdowns, 24 turnovers, and a 5-13 record against playoff teams. This team has a long way to go. But Jerry always has them winning the off season. Get your popcorn !
Well, facts are facts.

No opinion there, just cold, hard data.

We all know that the Cowboys (including Dak) have underperformed (even vs the league average) vs teams with top 1/3 or even 1/2 defenses....averaging in the 19-20 ppg range. Those teams are often playoff teams as well.
It's been a long-running theme and is fairly predictable.

Btw, to be fair, it's tough for any team or QB to fare well vs the better defenses. So Dak isn't completely alone....though most of the top 10 QBs (and offenses overall) do tend to fare a bit better statistically.

Also, a team won-loss record isn't the best indicator if pointing at one player...again, to be fair.

ITs really a silly argument....if you are a Dak fan and want him to do well that benefits the Cowboys. Most of us were fans before Dak and will be after Dak.

I still have a Romo jersey that I wear occasionally. Loved that dude too. Even though he also wasn’t perfect and had his faults.

I’ll root for Barney to be our QB if he can win a Super Bowl though. Lol

They also have better teams and coaches than Dak does.

The overall team is lacking--which is why won-loss records are deceiving.

I think we've been loaded on offense compared to most teams.
Usually a good or great line and RB. More recently great WRs but in the beginning.
The line was bad last year, but he was out and the backups had to suffer thru that fiasco.

Defense...not so much
