See that's the problem I have....you are judging zeke because "he struggled last year".....don;' act like you don't have your boot on his neck about it. You keep going on and on about it....as well as some other people.

OF COURSE he did. So did the WHOLE ENTIRE team.

You’re wrong here. I cape for Zeke more than anyone. I’m his biggest defender on this site. Dak, Jaylon, Lawrence, Zeke….I probably defend blindly more than anyone.

So im not lumped in with his haters. Im the guy that says since 2016 nobody has been consistently as good as Zeke. I’d even went as far as to say under the circumstances he probably should’ve had a worse year.

So don’t mistake my post as to knocking Zeke because it’s not. I just can’t fix my mouth to sit here and say he didn’t struggle last year and hasn’t. He has. He’s not the same player and he’s certainly not playing like the 15 million dollar back.

Okay then. Dak should give Zeke 25 million from his contract and then Zeke should turn around and spread that 30 million out between the O-line. Zeke gets paid plenty. I love both Dak and Zeke, and I'm pulling for them to have a Pro-Bowl year, but they won't accomplish that without a solid O-line. Of course Dak won't do that because he don't have to or need to.

We're all just wasting time with this, and all the other threads like this one. But it does keep us busy until the kick off of training camp. It's almost here guys!

You give him regular carries last year and he gets 1,200 yards easy.

I threw out Pollard's games with very few carries for what I thought would be obvious reasons but if you insist..

game 1 - 2 for 10 yards
game 2 - 2 for 6 yards .......3 ypc
game 3 - 0 for 0 yards but a nice kick return to the half yard line that resulted in a safety on the next play
game 4 - 3 for 16
game 5 - 6 for 30
game 6 - 10 for 31 ...........3.1 ypc
game 7 - 8 for 16 ............ 2 ypc
game 8 - 7 for 40
game 9 - 5 for 60
game 10 - 9 for 57
game 11 - 4 for 12 3 ypc
game 12 - 8 for 22 < 3 ypc
game 13 - 11 for 39 < 4 ypc
game 14 - 12 for 67
game 15 - 9 for 12 ....1.3 ypc
game 16 - 5 for 15 .... 3 ypc

By my count that's 8 games below 4 ypc and 6 games for 3 ypc or less. How is this not "struggling" at least as much as Zeke? I could go look it up but I don't really have to. I already know that Zeke had fewer games of this level of non-production last year.

Because Pollard isn’t paid 15 million…you’re grading him on the same scale as Zeke and that’s a problem in itself.

Fans forget or overlook during his initial presser, MM would only promise Zeke certain touches, as he put it " Zeke will get his touches". Even his offensive goal is to score fast and turn the game over to his DL appears built more around a passing attack.

its hard to keep your promise when you are playing 2-3 scores down all game behind, a backup OL, and using all 3 backup qbs and bad defense to add the cherry on top.. i believe most will say can we stop harping ON 2020 ITS A MULLIGAN...

YOU CANT JUDGE MUCH ON ANYONE..

I hope to see MM be more himself this year and maybe if we have better starts to game and bit better defense we can utilize the Run game and it should help the pass game and vice versa ie balance..
