He was fired midseason 2020 from his previous NFL job. So you tell me, hero.
Put those insultive labels back in your own pocket!

He also was the leadership of some top of the league defenses...so you tell us all. Leave those negative stereotypes of yours in your pocket.

Prove a case beyond comparing a head coach gig with a coordinator's job. Remember Garrett?

He wasn't let go? Wow, how did I miss that?

Obviously he's still here, since you missed my point entirely, let me explain it. IF he was let go he'd likely turn out like I said. It was a hypothetical comparison to other players that have been in similar circumstances, both with the Cowboys and other players/teams as well.

Sorry if it was too complicated of a post for you...
So you want to argue a hypothetical point? How am I to counter that hypothetical point? With hypothetical counterpoints? LOL Let's stick with facts and reality, not hypothetical fantasy.

It's going to be a big year for several of our players. I can't blame Tank for last year because the Cowboys D was in 2nd and 3rd and short constantly. You can't really get a pass rush going when it's 2nd and 5, then 3rd and 2.

DLaw, Jaylon Smith, LVE, Gallup, and even Cooper have something to prove to justify their stay in 2022. All for varying reasons. I'm hoping these guys are at their best. Because regardless of what anyone thinks in regards to these players, if they go, someone steps in for them. I don't see this team being better in 2022 if we lose most or all of those players.
Ooooooh, didn't think about that facet. Can't rush passer if he's not passing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it!!!! The Flamma Rule!!!!

I got news for you, Rocky. We have yet another 1st year DC and staff and the pandemic is still here. Apparently, according to your own words, that's a good enough reason for you to give up once again.
Not really. Haven't seen Quinn coach here. We definitely saw Nolan coach here last year and that's when the entire world gave up on Nolan.

It's a "what have you done for me lately" league. So those "top-of-the-league defenses" don't mean much since he has dropped the ball since then.

His getting fired midseason in 2020 does not inspire leadership.

He is not a RDE build type pass rusher and had obvious success in 2017-2018 rushing from the same position when in 2017 Dallas had Crawford on the other side and Thornton and Collins at the DT positions and in 2018 they had Crawford on the opposite side and Jones and Ward at the DT positions (a lesser group than in 2017 yet Lawrence got more sacks in '18 than '17).
Lawrence got paid before the start of the '19 season and Dallas brought in Quinn to play the opposite DE position and while Quinn stepped up and amassed 11.5 sacks that season Lawrence could only manage 6 sacks.......so Lawrence was given help on the opposite side but with money in the bank he failed to duplicate his past performances.....coincidence?
You haters bring down every thread no matter the subject.

Don't understand the actual roles of leadership and motivational talents are? They tie into professional strengths and aren't directly tied into current talent levels.

You saying that Atlanta was a top five team the last two seasons now? I'm not...

Every year is big when you make the kind of money DLaw does and hit non-GTD seasons.
All that said he was BY FAR the best Dallas defender last year.

The introduction of more fresh players to be available for pass rush help should help this defense to respond better than they have in the past. I'm hopeful that several of the youngsters like Anae and Goldston will be allowed to participate far more actively than they have in past years. Randy Gregory will finally get his reps to demonstrate his wares more than ever before. I fully expect the pass rush to noticeably improve. I also have high hopes that Dan Quinn will improve the defensive team's passion and unity.

They attended a Super Bowl just 4 seasons ago with Quinn. How did he fall from grace so quickly?

His lack of sacks is not due solely to his lack of effort, he's not had d-line play worth much, he's asked to defend the run most of the time and lastly he plays on the quarterback's non-blind side.

I would submit if you put him on the other side of the line and gave him some better dt play he'd be back to the 14.5 sack level. As is often the case, players get blamed for not doing something when anybody else that's put in the same situation wouldn't get 14.5 sacks, either.

Players don't exist in a vacuum...
No lack of effort on DLaw's part. He's a hard-nosed gritty player who brings it at all times. Injuries have limited him somewhat, and now we've paid a good player like a great player. Just an all around bad idea. However, since we have a GM who's horrific at assessing talent, we'd be incapable of replacing him. That's something that has haunted us for 25 years.

Straight to ignore, I don't discuss with nothing more than biased insult. No Son, a discussion involves facts and not insultive attitude alone.

See ya'...
You tell me to stay out of a debate so you don't get challenged. One way to make that happen is to indeed ignore me but I'm still going to challenge you and other posters can take up the fight if they choose to. Run away, Run away.
