As I just said on this topic on another thread, did we already have SOME info on him and was that why we chose to not take a look prior to this incident? SOMETIMES its the moves you do not make that are whats best for the team.

Domestic violence is never a good thing, but at least this puts to rest the silly idea of signing him.

I don't know. Now he should be cheaper, and you know how Jerry loves a bargain.

Dallas was not bringing in Sherman. --no matter how wise or unwise.
Sherman would rather retire than play for what we'd offer in pay.

Let us not race to judgment. If it doesn't fit, you must acquit.
with the lack of information, this is more click bait and a line in the sand to start an argument. If he did something he needs to pay his debt. If he didn't do it he deserves to have his name cleared. But society now it is almost worse to be accused then to be found guilt.

I get the severity of domestic violence but to deny bail seems extreme for that.......I thought that was reserved for people accused of murder.......

Its usually for if they expect the detained to either run or commit another crime. Richard could have done or said something where they don’t trust his state of mind.

Either that or robbery often gets the bail revoked, possibly this burglary charge is the cause

works out. He can rot in jail and see how attractive that life is. These spoiled rotten brats we call NFL players need to realize its a priv., not a right of passage to be highly paid and play in the NFL. Fans pay their wages. Its time they realize it. Maybe Sherm will wake up.

The line has always been blurred, before it was "real" reporters. Now its anyone with a pair of thumbs and a cell phone.
The new journalists are people in their basement on Twitter....hell even the reporters who went to school for journalism are now taking part in it....no accountability.....past journalists at least had that....granted, they could be reckless pass as well but they at least had to uphold some form of integrity. Now the more reckless the better......while running lives...

to be fair to him, like him or not, I guess we better reserve judgment. I'm just as guilty of rushing to judgment. My hunch is tho, he raised a bunch of red flags which is why he's not getting bail.

I have no idea what happened to him here but if he is guilty of DV he is likely just done w the NFL.

But even if he were getting medals of freedom from the President, Dallas would not have been signing him. Dallas does not want to pay for age and experience(rightly or wrongly).
They view those guys as stop gaps meant to hold down fort in case of draft or camp injury emergencies to be cut before the regular season.

Jerry will now likely fire up the Jerry Choppa and fly to Seattle to "kick the tires" and talk to the judge lol...

in fairness "real" journalists are now guys like dan orlovsky and skip and stephen a where they just say completely outlandish things for attention.
i subscribe to the athletic because to me they are one of the last bastions of actual sports journalism/reporting.
