He is one of the more exciting draft picks with his combination of size and big play ability. However, Wilson and Brown will be in the mix for the 4th and 5th roster spots. Those spots usually come down to ST.

Saying that, do you think Simi Fehoko is a lock to make the final roster

100% lock.

Given his resume, his frame and being drafted means he makes the team.

They will give him 2-3 years before they release him.

Cant vote, because there are 10 other prospects competing for that job,, Fehoko gets a roster spot from draft stock alone at this point, but there will be some crazy competition taking place and a big reason why HBO wants this gig.
Bet its HBO first focus on the roster with Hard Knocks.

If his last name had 10 more vowels in it he would be a shoe in
Lets take a look at some of these names,, us fans have a bit of homework to do quickly, so not to appear foolish once camp begins and these names begin getting lost in translation.
Simi Fehoko
Matt Farniok
Austin Faoliu

I'll say no. I think they will hope he can be slipped onto the PS.

I think he will but he's not a lock.

Fehoko is getting the fan push to overrated. He's got size and speed but it's build up speed in a straight line. Lacks quickness. Not much of a route runner. Inconsistent hands.

He belonged in the 5th round.

He is not a lock to make the roster.

Wilson and Brown both have years of experience and have played in actual games.

There are also other undrafted guys who may or may not surprise.

He could make it.

he could also make the practice squad too. That wouldn’t shock me either.

I think so with Cooper being injured. They might showcase him in the preseason and trade him if he looks good but they don’t have roster space. I hope they keep him.

FWIW. Most of the people on the cowboys.com
Podcasts. Said Fehoko didn’t look that impressive at rookie camp, OTA and mini camp. Of course, it’s still early.

we will get to see a lot of him in pre season games I imagine.

If he has 4.36 speed and can catch he is dangerous. Bullitt Bob could not catch a cold when he started playing

Yes. Devin Street, a 5h rounder (WR) in 2014, made the roster for 2 years and he probably couldn't get open if Jerry Jones lined up at CB.

i see your point.
But yet Street never had those kind of physical traits such as size, speed and physicality that if honed well could
present quite some mismatch advantages vs slot CBs and safeties

Wilson n Brown have experience and have shown to be valuable players. I don't think Simi is or will be better than either by the end of camp, so there's a possibility they try to sneak him to PS.

He's not a sure lock, imo.

i would only say that if he was a early round draftee.

i think it just depends upon Simi's camp and preseason. He's flat awful all summer to where he flat never shows up, simply cannot catch anything
or get open from anyone, then that could force the team to think about gambling him thru to the practice squad ..at the least.

But from all sounds, at draft time, they really think they got a sleeper value that fell to late rounds in Simi.

Multiple teams called McClay that they got their guy. Rarely can you sneak mid round picks to the practice squad and once there they are it is still easy pickens like Michael Jackson two years ago.
