Couldn't agree more. Although a few others should be on this list as well.

"Here are 3 cut candidates on the Cowboys’ roster bubble entering 2021 training camp."

3. Quarterback Ben DiNucci ~ One of the fan favorites last season was Ben DiNucci. Although he was a fan favorite, DiNucci didn’t perform well in the 2 games he played. He was the 3rd or 4th string quarterback last season and only played due to injuries.

2. Wide receiver Noah Brown ~ The Cowboys have one of the best-receiving cores in the league, which makes it difficult to make the roster. Noah Brown was a 7th round pick by the Cowboys back in 2017 and has been a solid depth player.

1. Defensive tackle Trysten Hill ~ Hill is projected to be the 2nd string defensive tackle but could be cut. He was considered a reach when he was drafted a few years ago and hasn’t lived up to his potential.

Don't think Hill gets cut but we do have 685505453 DTs at the moment.

I'd want to see what Nooch has going forward unless he stinks decidedly worse than Rush. Neither would make a difference in a game at this point so.

Is Brown good enough to survive the upstart youngins we all love so much? Not sure, but whoever wrote this, it's "corps," not "cores."

I would consider putting Hill on PUP to give him more ‘time to heal.’ Looks to me like the Cowboys may get into a roster crunch. Cowboys might have enough players at DL and can strategically place Hill on PUP as an insurance policy.

Saves a roster spot and can always pull him off PUP before the season begins if needed.

After 6 weeks on PUP, he will be fully healed and could fill a need if someone got hurt.

I don't think it really matters if DiNucci gets cut. He clearly wasn't ready to start, most 7th round rookies aren't. But his throwing motion was terrible. Garret should be the #2, I thought he played well.

We do have a ton of DT's but none of them have proved they are all that great. Hill looked decent last year before his injury. If he can come back from that he will at least be a good rotational player. Not really what you want out of that high of a pick, but not a complete loss.

Brown has been a good player and he has his role. He's more of a blocker than a WR but he can do both. I think he likely losses out to Fehoko though if for no other reason than contract, age, and potential.

Hill nor Brown are cut candidates. Well, they could be, but they are not high on the list. They will be 2 of the last ones to go. And then it is just a numbers game at that point.

DeNucci probably, but could be back on the PS.
Yeah this is exactly how I feel. Could I see all 3 getting cut? Sure.

But I personally see no reason to cut any of them except Dinucci who you can put on practice squad.

I guess its weird because on one hand I don't think those guys would get cut....but on another hand I wouldn't be shocked if they were cut.

No disagreement here.

That would be stupid. Dude needed to get snaps to learn. He came in last year as a different player who had earned the respect of the vets on the line.

Let's try to follow along.

not a list that's too far off. Nuch is probably a PS candidate...

Noah brown is not contributor as a WR. his ceiling is very low, we already know that. he is a good blocker. he is a special teams ACE. I think if he bulked up a bit he could be a smallish 3rd TE as opposed a WR who has trouble getting separation.

Hill is on the bubble, although some may disagree. he is competing with Urban, Odi, Gallimore, Watkins, Bohanna, Foilu, Hamilton, for 4, or maybe 5 spots. I think we may go long on DL, with at least 9, with a couple of players like Urban who can play DE and DT in 4-3 and 3-4..... Hill better show up. better be in shape. better hustle. better listen. if he is to make this team. for now Odi, Urban, Gallimore are probably shoe ins to make the team, with Bohanna (my pet cat) due to his size having a leg up....

Isn't that kind of the point? It's not very interesting to say that Johnnie Dixon is a cut candidate. These sure seem to be three guys on or near the bubble.

For a guy like brown to get cut a young guy has to step up
If that happens that’s a great thing
Brown is a nice player who is pretty good on ST
But a younger, cheaper guy with more upside is a good thing
But the kids have to push him off the roster because I don’t see keeping a young guy who doesn’t earn it
With Cooper likely to miss early camp the kids will get plenty of opportunities
Hill has a numbers problem but he has camp to prove he’s better than the other options
Ben should still be PS eligible

I wouldnt even say that Cedrick Wilson is a lock to make the final roster, he should be on the notable bubble list.

I think Hill makes the roster unless he's bad in camp. He's on a cheap contract, and just turned 23. He's actually one of the two youngest DTs we have IIRC.

Still time for him to turn the tide.

He’s no lock but he’s safer than brown I think because he has more upside as a receiver and contributes in the return game
But the last couple of WR spots are gonna be a battle and that’s a very good thing

Dinucci and Brown wouldn't be surprise cuts. Hill wouldn't be a total shock, but felt the team has been a little high on some of the progress he's made.

All three points you made...:hammer::hammer::hammer:

His problem is timing. I haven't seen much about his recovery status, but if he's not ready to participate for much of camp, it'll be harder to keep him. But then he's probably more of a PUP/IR candidate than a straight-out cut.

Could we possibly keep 6 WRs ?
WR
1 coop
2 lamb
3 gally
4 wilson
5 simi
6 brown

Will Cowboys consider a vet backup QB at some point of summer if they become available ? Are go with 3 or only 2 QBs ?
i tend to still think 3 QBs
1 Prescott
2 Gilbert
3 DiNucci

How many DTs will Cowboys keep 4 or 5 ?... Could we go 9 or 10 at the DL unit overall ?
1 Gallimore
2 Osa
3 Gholston
4 Hill
5 Bohanna

I agree with the 1st 2 but not the 3rd. In limited action, he did show some flashes of being much better than average. He hasn't lived up to his potential because of injuries so I'm willing to give him a pass and say that if he stay's healthy he will be a better than average rotational player for the Cowboys.
