The Cowboys are going to find a way to keep DiNucci. The used a 7th round pick on him when no one even expected him to be drafted. Supposedly they did that to ensure they got him. Throw away last year. He had no opportunity to prepare to play in the NFL so it would be unfair to him to judge him on that one game. At the same time, I don't think the Cowboys can keep 3 QBs on their roster. DiNucci is going to have to show something in camp and preseason to make this team - so I guess that makes him a bubble player.
I think Noah Brown and Cedrick Wilson are both on the bubble. Both are on one year deals, although Wilson's is more than $2 million while Brown's is under a million. The Cowboys signed a bunch of UDFA WRs and they drafted Fekoho. If Fekoho can block as a WR and shows any kind of hands I think he replaces Brown. There are several other WRs that could replace Wilson.
I don't see them parting ways with Trysten Hill just yet. He looks like he has some game based on the few games he played last year but injuries might be a concern. I just don't think the Cowboys get rid of a 2nd round pick so soon. I think he gets another year in Dallas. But I admit, the wild card in all of this is Quinn. He didn't draft Hill so he might not have any attachments too him. Maybe he favors Osa Odighizuwa over Hill, but neither is making a lot of money so they won't be cut because of CAP issues. But here is an interesting note for Cowboys fans. The highest paid DT on the Dallas Cowboys roster is Brent Urban and he counts $1.75 million against the CAP this year. This is an indication of how much the Cowboys value the position. That's $1 million less than the kicker is making!
