@NotForLong I think you are referring to the one pass that Dak threw in practice which Wright broke up. It was a good play by Wright and an equally bad pass by Dak.
Dak was behind and late with the throw and didn't get enough height. Dak is most likely a little rusty and getting back up to speed. It could have just been a lazy throw.
Quinn, and the NFL coordinators, are looking for these tall, long-armed athletes because they can make some throws on the outside difficult. QBs and OCs will adjust and force players like Wright to play toward their weakness which could be slants and double moves and such.
Wright has only played 16 games the last two years but he is looking good so far in camp.
