This is just passing, what about the TEAM red zone TD's. Look back to the 90's. Emmitt was relied upon to get most of the TD's.
I know those come more from inside the 5. But also look at the play calls.

Dallas as a TEAM needs to improve. I don't care how they get the TD, just get in the end zone.

So because he is very inaccurate passer, which is highlighted inside the 20 and then multiplied inside the 10 and can't complete passes for first downs to extend drives thus limiting his chances at more TD passes , he gets a pass for that?
Look at how he ranks in TD’s inside the 20. Better than both Mahomes and Rogers.

He certainly needs to improve inside the 20 no argument. But he’s done pretty good as far as TD’s which is my point.

The TD to INT ration is important here, at 16-0. Now the others above him are decent as well. I bet many did not know Dak has 0 picks inside the 20. But that will not be acknowledged.
I recall Aikman and Romo throwing picks inside the 20 way too often.

Sure there is if you open your mind.

would you take all of these Quarterbacks who are ahead of him? If they’re not viewed as superior or even on dak’s level, what weight should we put in the context of this stat?

Is that he's horrible in the redzone. Look at these stats and who he's ahead of.

The thing Dak struggles with, and the reason why Moore is a bit handcuffed inside the ten, is highlighted by your post.

Sort those stats by, 'TD's inside the 10', and Dak is way down the list. I would bet a steak dinner that if you look at the specifics of the 7 TD passes he threw from inside the 10, most of them would be to Zeke who ran it in. A couple corner fades, maybe. Moore doesn't even call any passes to the middle area of the endzone. There is a reason why Moore ignores such a significant part of any offensive attack plan.

Your thread actually highlights the significant problem in Dak's game which absolutely holds the offense back in certain, often critical situations.

Hopefully this season is the year Dak shows some progress in those situations.

Sort those stats by pass attempts inside the 10 as well and you'll see he's way down the list.
