Two ways to look at it.

He's never been a run guy. Never had this balance that he speaks of.

But he's never had a Tony Pollard either.

We shall see if he's serious. Right now I take this as him wanting to drop a few pounds.

I don't think the Cowboys want Dak throwing the ball 40 times a game either. Last year we were all screaming about Zeke disappearing and only getting a limited number of carries. Hopefully the Cowboys will be playing with a lead and will use Zeke AND Pollard to RUN THE BALL.

I think this is what most people want. But for him to do this he has got to get this team ready by Sunday's....they can't go out there playing sloppy to start games....you aren't allowed to be balanced when your defense is bad, offense starts off slow and special teams suck.

Balance is great. Everyone wants balance. But the running game has to get back to where it was before. And the defense cant let the other team run up and down the field and score at will.

In case you didnt notice, MM just blew your Kellen Moore theory right out of the water. As discussed, MM confirmed that throwing the ball a lot was in direct relation to the poor defense and the poor Oline play. He stated that straight out.

I am confident, however, that you will continue to contradict the obvious and the HC and imply that its because Kellen Moore wants it that way.

I certainly wasnt screaming about limited carries for Zeke. Disappearing yes. Some of the slow starts were directly related to the ineptitude of the run game and Zeke fumbling the football. Why would you continue to do what isnt working?

The key for this offense is balance, but it needs to be aggressive in the passing game early, get a lead and hammer them into submission with the run game once a lead is established.
