OK i have to cap this at 5 more threads then needed for this guy..can we get to real games against real padded competition and ive tackling etc..????????????

Jeez hes being so overhyped he will be giant let down if fans are expectation for him to be Sherman..

im glad hes showing up in these glorified walk throughs but i will save my judgement for PS games when at least someone's trying hard to beat him at full speed.....:espn::oldcouple:
Cap away mon capitan.

I know he had a good minicamp how has he looked at training camp?
So far, so good!
But really, we'll know more when the real games start.

We won't have far to look at CB comps as Elijah Moulden and Ifeatu Melifonwu went right after him

For what it is worth a video of his brother, who was mentioned in the article. . . this whole family are serious athletes tall and fluid. . . Future Cowboy?

Rejzhon was on last chance u. Kid is a baller. Was top cb prospect in the state of cali. Grades i think pushed them both to Juco. They both went to the same juco and both going to oregon st. Comes from a single mother home shes now makin decent $$. Nashon is the cooler head of the 2 rajzohn i think has more talent but more wild

Will be interesting to watch both him and Ifeatu Melafonwu mature as players - hoping we made the right pick. Looks like we just may have done just that.

I love this kid thus far! I will give credit where credit is due here, The Cowboys have been great a building a team through the draft in my opinion! The issue that we face is our GM gets in the way of the coaches doing their jobs and the culture is set by Jerry and not the coach. I'm always going to be routing for these players and coaches to overcome these hindrances.

As Parcells would say, hold off on the anointing oil. This prospect has yet to play a single snap in this league. Yes, has had some good moments in shells thus far, but has a long way to go.

Myself I'm not anointing anyone, but Wright has put this pressure on himself from day 1 making the comparison of himself and that of Richard Sherman and has not backed away from the challenge. Frankly I don't know what to expect from him

Perfect world, Joseph/Wright are able to push Brown/Lewis off the roster by next season.

Reach! Reach! Reach!
Jerry! Stephen! McClay! Puppet McCarthy!
Horrible draft!

Translation: No! No! No! … 3-pointer! Nice shot! Yes!

I’m sure the draft know-it-all’s here had seen that article before the draft. How else would they be so sure he would be available in the 7th round? Funny they are laying low right now. I’m sure they will pounce as soon as he makes a mistake on the field.
No doubt . . . I dont pretend to be a draft expert and this year I waited till the draft to put my mind to it . . . so instead of Obsessing over a Cornerback or a O Lineman. . . . I hit the ceiling when Persons was drafted . . . I love a defense lead by a generational talent at MLB . . . these are those defenses that can win a Super Bowl inspite of their offense . . He is a Born leader Through and Through.

Add in a talent on par with any CB in the Draft
it wasn’t hate on him…it was hate it on the front office for taking a player many perceived as a UDFA
Yes but jumping to hate based on perceptions is foolish do your homework and then past judgement. . . but in this day and age everyone runs off of emotions

Their father recently died. The youtuber mentions it in the beginning . . . What impressed me the most was his post draft interview . . .

He is all business. . . even his comment about Sherman want cocky more matter of fact.

I am not sure of the status of his brother . . . but if Nashon pans out it could led to his brother being given a chance and maybe a home here . . . could be a storybook ending for both

Which I would be a fan of

Article from February

Not everyone was sleeping on him
Apparently He has a brother coming through the pipeline as well
Wow, good reminder in the very first sentence that Sports Illustrated used to be a real thing and just isn't anymore. "...all the fantastic football players who had dawned the Eagles uniform...." That's just embarrassing. And it gets worse from there.

will he be better for it?
I am not sure if it could be measured . . . if he is successful it will be a testament to his will. . . i just feel for these kids that get booed and lambasted at the same exact moment they are enjoying the greatest moment in their lives .

But you are right. . . . given what I perceive to be his attitude he will turn this into motivation
