What kills me about these "experts" is that they want to be right to the detriment of the team. They root for our rookies to suck so they can look right. Wright has looked good...yeah he got burned by Claypool but you could argue he got pushed off anyway.

Not a lot of shame in being a third round pick in your first ever NFL preseason game and getting beat by Chase Claypool. Coachable moment though.

How in the world he is still on this roster after his Eagles debacle game? He looked like a Make a Wish foundation player that game.

Our backups are absolutely terrible. I know backups in the NFL are usually not that great but ours are very bad. Gilbert, Rush and DiNucci. At least Andy Dalton (even though is he is very meh) could do a little something. These 3 guys won't win you a game.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt for that game. Rookie udfa, small school, no real camp, no pre season games, forced into a primetime game on the road with both tackles out. He had no chsnce.

But he has to show much, much more than this to show he's even worth the roster spot

I think the Dinucci expiriment is over. Cut him and see who you can get as a development guy. Gilbert is the backup. Rush is the PS.

Although I think DiNucci needs time to develop and fans are being a little harsh on him because of his one start last year, his performance in this game doesn't give Dallas any reason to keep him. Hopefully, he'll show better as the preseason progresses.

I think he's only a practice squad player at best at the moment, and that's only if the Cowboys are seeing enough glimpses in camp to try to develop him.

Fans have a tendency to overreact, but he just hasn't had any moment where you go, "See? That's what he's capable of."
