Wasn't he down by contact? I thought he was hit as soon as he caught it.

Looked like he was still getting control after contact. Caught it and went down. So at that point he could get up and run.

Gilbert looked fine to me, the team around him has been bad. Bad snaps, penalties, dropped passes.

Looks like another well-coached team. Hopefully, this is the last year of Moore at offensive coordinator, just not impressed with him.

In fairness to Moore, they are NOT running anything other than a vanilla offense. Not much motion, stunts, or any of that. The other teams we've played have ran trick plays on us both weeks and our Defense hasn't exactly caved like a cheap tent, so that's a positive to me.

I Do think we need to see a full quarter of Gilbert with all the starting OL and some actual non vanilla play-calling even if it is just a couple series.

I gets the feeling CW is a goner after this season. They've tried him everywhere on the line and not muy bueno. Maybe fit him in the Rowdy suit and see how he does.

Cooper outplaying Gilbert tonight I'd say. Agree?

I mean I believe he played against tougher competition but Rush hasn't had Gallup and Lamb...

I just think with Rush and Gilbert we know their ceilings and to me Gilbert at least showed he will air it out ONCE lol. He also got some sloppy snaps from Conner.
