Not in this case. Gilbert had more snaps in the previous two games. In a "dress rehearsal" game, a QB will normally get more snaps than Gilbert had.

I think MM isn't happy with him.

Id take Dalton too.

Foles needs a WCO to thrive. If Prescott goes down again, you cant effectively install a timing based offense on the fly. If you brought Foles in during the offseason, maybe you would be able to work on that type of thing. Dalton has been in the system

I do wonder what it would cost to get Minshew. With Canady play his way into the lineup, I wouldnt mind a Henry for Kitna esqu trade with one of our vet CB's. Think Minshew could a solid long term back up option

Yeah that's what I mean. He's supposed to know QBs and he targeted Ben DiNucci as the guy to develop. That is alarming to say the least because that dude doesn't belong anywhere near an NFL field.

It's the 15201 connection. DiNucci's grandma makes some good Italian sausage for MM when he visits the Burgh.

So basically he is one onside kick flub away from pulling a Prescott.

After watching the new defense play and its potential this season, man I'm ready for the real season to start.

Damn I didn't know that I heard a lot of people say Sewell was a generational type tackle.

That's what some was saying. I said over and over Slater was the best OL in the draft.

I thought it was awful, but guess you guys thought it was great lol.
They had to punt 3 times just to get that right, and our return team couldnt get to the 20 lol.

about the qb's
I think it is all on the coaching and training and the way they practice.
All three qb's played like it was practice and they had 10-15 seconds to throw the ball, and no one could hit them lol.
I feel sorry for them as our coaches suck with qb's. They should simulate pressure in practice, but they dont.

Parcells used to stand behind simms and yell throw it! Just to let him know times up dude.
nobody doing that here with these guys.

Also kellens play designs dont help, and receivers are poorly coached too.
Nobody comes back towards qb to give him a target, they just run around . There are no short dump offs to throw to.
Blocking was awful once starters were out, and martin stepped on GG's foot just to help him get started right lol.
That was like something curly would do to moe.

If they get another guy , all you get is what they are, our coaches and plays wont make them better, and if anything
they will get coached downward.
If I were a qb I would not want to play for cowboys with these coaches. They could make rodgers look bad.

I initially said cowboys would be 10-7, but may have to lower that.

Yessir and if he is real lucky he has one more shot to make it happen. I’ve never been this excited for the final preseason game ever. The drama is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

MM should go to the Texans and make a trade for one of their back up QB's on the spot.

Trade, oh, maybe Justin Hamilton since he will not make the team, but can be a decent player.

umm they looked worse then ours that is fact..what were you watching? they got 14 points off our Offensive TOs..their offense couldn't move the ball until the 4th qtr when we stopped playing lol our defense shut them down outside of that short field first score but again the Offense once again and its been theme the last few seasons keep dumping on ours defense..

now back to that Texans need Watson back none of their backups were better then ours..not sure how you got that.,rush was serviceable but yes possible im leaning on the go get better backup crowd.

Joe whitt filling in for DQ did great job odd he was almost hired as DC and now hes an assistant..i liked the play calls..

what Ive taken from PS is regardless of the fact its preseason our defense is much improved coaching and players..im not sure if memory serves me well but they had uner 100 total yards at the half..preseason or not its supposed to be a dress rehearsal game and we outplayed them on both sides of the Ball but two things that keep creeping in our team stil stoofd

1. Offensive turnovers lost us the game IMO

2.RZ scoring..or scoring in general

these things have been an issue all year last year and so far in PS..i know dak and zeke not there its PS so im not making big deal over it but the defense was stifling that first half and then we give up a short field fumble and pick 6 led to 14 points..

the punter was great all this talk we made mistake cuttings Nis was premature..like i knew it would.,.no nepotism or conspiracy here that 59 yard bomb all in the air was awesome and he was kicking inside the 20 and 10 a lot..not sure why the coaches are constantly mocked for cuts when they see these guys everyday all offseason..

most likely was a close battle but Nis got hurt , comp over at that point..anger was kicking angry.,,.
