News: PFT: Cooper Rush will start final preseason game for Cowboys

..watch GG ball out this game. He probably knows Elvis is singing his tune. *Its now or never* Good luck to both. Still feel GG is somewhat better, perhaps his poise. ..;)

I would love to be able to speculate and say that our QB2 is not currently rostered, but will be once Jacksonville has to cut down, or raid their PS.
They wont keep 4.

Done what? He's attempted 3 regular season passes in his entire NFL career. They were in 2017.

There are teams with 3rd-string QBs who have done more than Cooper Rush.
 
This is on Jerry and Big Mac. Watch us lose a game or two that will keep us out because Dak had to miss a game or two because of covid. One of these clowns between Gilbert and Rush will cost this team

2017: 2 games. 3 pass attempts, 1 completion, 2 yds
2018: 1 game. No stats
2019: 2 games. No stats
P.S. Rush turns 28 y.o. 12 weeks from today.
 
As expected, Rush was awful today. He absolutely does not possess the arm strength to compete against NFL players. It was always obvious, just came out again today.

Wish we could put his head on GG's body.

Done as in being ""granted"... simply " handed" ... the role as No.2 backup.
Not from what he's done in production
Thats' how much Cowboys have taken Dak's previous durability for granted.

Always been like that with Rush - Kellen Moore type noodle arm.

just too limited and weak to really do what we need as per entire field.
have to have a dink dunk type game with him.

Is heady in terms of feel for the game. ..but is juts too limited physically to really
be suited for NFL game.
 
Yep he started with some undrafted free agents and got to go against a first team defense.

The sad thing is that Moore would make a better backup QB than the ones we've got.
