The Cowboys got a good look at their young players this preseason, but there will be a lot of rust to knock off once the season starts.

Hard to watch h this 2nd half, bad play after bad play. Yet here we all sit watching.
Not doing my thoughts for the upcoming season any favors.
Someone already said it,
1) why do our backups always look worse than the other teams backups ?
2) we don't have a QB 2.

Actually, that stupid play might matter come Tuesday...to him.

A young guy trying to earn a spot makes an aggressive penalty will make him lose his spot, but a sack and an int wont help him make it? Kid has made plays every game....I am going to give him a break on an aggressive penalty.

I think Eubanks may have locked up that 3rd TE spot. At least he is in the discussion for the 53. Eubanks may be better than McKeon. Unfortunate that McKeon got injured because it allows others to get reps and show what they can do. More upside than Sprinkle.

McKeon is our best blocking TE

I know Dallas likes Malik turner but if they’re keeping a 6th I’d be intrigued by giving the spot to Reggie Davis. He has rare speed this team doesn’t have. Could create 2-3 big plays a game on crossing routes or go routes.

Turner went out earlier with possible injury. I'd guess he ends up on IR. Davis doesn't look good on special teams, most likely how he would make the team.

1) because I’d imagine we have one of the most top heavy rosters in the league in terms of cap space. Not much money to give spots 30-53

2) I’d bet QB is a draft possibility starting with 3rd round next year (assuming our whole OL returns)

his draft capital and the fact he’s been ok will keep him around imo . If he can play special teams he’ll stick

Brad Sham said today he has had as good a camp as anyone and the coaches like him. He will get cut most likely because of numbers but he has had his best camp here so far.
