1 stupid play doesn't mean he has no situational awareness. He went to wrap up and receiver ducked down. If it was something he did over and over, sure. It's insane to think a rookie, or expect a rookie, to never make a mistake. That's stupid

That one stupid play cost them a 3rd and 30. Didn't get off the field, cost the. Another 7 points. Yes, he's is a future prospect for the team. But he should have bee. Pulled right then and there, to at the least show him that's unacceptable !

He has played really well all preseason and training camp. He made a mistake, as a rookie, in a preseason game that doesn't matter. Doesn't make him stupid, just a bad play.

I know it's not the starters. But when bad tackling is this pervasive throughout a team, it means you are not drafting/signing the right guys or you are not teaching them well or there's is not enough motivation going on. Or all of those things.
