Just want to get an idea of how everybody is setup to watch the games this season.

Right now I’m in the process of constructing an outside set up on my patio while the weather is nice in the Northeast usually till about thanksgiving.

But inside I’m running a

TV: 75 inch 4K Samsung

Sound - sound is so important.

I’m running an Atmos Soundbar Samsung Q950 A
11 speakers & drivers and Subwoofer.

Any Patio setup advice welcome - not sure I want a permanent 55 inch TV outside not sure I want to hang it.

Buddy of mine has an amazing stone built on barbecue outdoor TV set up I wish I could do it.

Outdoor TVs can run $2400-4500 crazy

anyone have one ?

55" Samsung HD4K. It is the only size that fits where I watch the games. Which is in my chair or sitting in the bed in my bedroom. I don't spend a lot of time in the living room. If I would go get a 65" to 75" TV I would, as there is an old Samsung 55" plasma there now. Just can't justify a new TV there yet.

Just use the regular sound from the TV, that is plenty. I should see about hooking up my Bose Speakers to it though.

When we get to the SB, I may go replace that TV in the living room.:flagwave:

I don't have an outdoor setup myself, but I did see how one was setup on Ask This Old House...

Half the time Brad Sham and Babe Laufenberg on radio would be welcome when I want to mute the” B “ team the networks send to Cowboy games like Kenny Albert and “Joey bag of donuts “ but the radio audio doesn’t match the screen there is a delay so by the time the radio describes the action the play is over. Any audio experts know how to cure this ?

The best trio by far on my 55” LG screen is Troy with Erin Andrews offering her expertise , Joe Buck I could do without .

One thing you may try, if you have live pause on your tv.

See what the delay is. Pause for that time, then start the game to sync it.
As long as the radio broadcast is behind the TV. If the opposite, then it would not work.

Hey I might try that thanks . Not sure how many games the Cowboys will be the marquee game and we get the 12 noon start with the triple AAA crew sent to mop up duty .

Hey Dusty how is that soundbar? Man I have been researching that particular one for a few weeks now. I currently have a Yamaha 5.1 but was looking at upgrading the sound to atmos but would need a new amp and speakers. Was thinking the A950 might be an ok substitution as I would it in a medium sized room.

Are you happy with it?

My TV is a QN90a 75”

13” black and white tube TV. Mono sound.

Old school...really old...

I had an old 19" Zenith tube tv that was passed down through our family in a way. I am not sure how old it was, maybe 25 years, by the time it finally met the great tube guy in the sky.

My uncle had it as his main TV, not sure for how long, 4 or 5 years. maybe a little longer. Gave it to my dad when he bought a new TV. We used it for a good 8 years, mostly as a 2nd TV for about 5 years.
My brother then used it for about 8 years. I then took it, used it for 5 years or so. Then used it as a 2nd TV after I got married for 3 years, then it started smoking, and died.
That was around 1983 when it bit the dust.

Now one is lucky to get 5 years from a flat screen.

I think we have the usual 6 national games plus the T-day game, which we should have Tony for that game. Since it is the Raiders, and will be on CBS.
I don't think we will have too many B or C team broadcasters.

Not a CBS fan at all ( Romo & Nantz ) . Fox ( Aikman & Andrews ) do a much better job. Didn’t Tony come under some heavy criticism for his SB broadcast .

Not sure, not that I remember.

I can take or leave both teams either way. I lean more to Tony and Jim, as they do not seem one sided in any game. As where Bucky Joe and Troy seem like it at times. And all games.

Can't stand Bucky Joe though.

Troy tries to be fair, but with Dallas games he goes a bit opposite, so he does not sound like a homer. But he tries to be fair. Bucky Joe is the opposite, you can tell how he announces the plays. as if a big play against Dallas, such as a TD. you can hear the glee in his voice. As to a Dallas TD, not so much.

I think Tony and Jim are about the same with all teams.

It’s an outstanding soundbar - atmos great for ps5 / Xbox one atmos gaming etc .
Some tv events are now atmos.
The rears are upfiring too - very rare - Sonos is not.

Sony have two new atmos Soundbars coming out this month - both incredible - both incredibly expensive.

Also if you are in Apple Music lover or listener keep in mind many of their new songs almost all of the new releases and releases are now being released in spacial format ie atmos.

True audiophiles don’t wanna hear that because audiophiles listen to their music in stereo however the world is changing and special radio is where it’s moving .
