It’s impossible to gauge how good (or bad) this team is

I guess we find out a lot on Thursday Night. It is hard to know how good this team and for the most part most teams will be coming out of camp. Cowboys get the ultimate test of SB champ, prime time at their house. I look forward to it, I want to see where the team needs to improve on and what they may excel at early in the season. Win or lose you walk away with a lot more answers than question and coaches will know where their focus need to be in getting this team in the right direction. If this team can go out and execute the way they are capable of I think we can win.

Its really not.

They have missed the playoffs 3 of the last 4 seasons.
They play the second easiest schedule if you go by Strength of Schedule.
They play in arguably the easiest division in the league.
They have the second highest paid player in the league at qb.
They have more stars then most teams on offense and they have compensated them as such.
They used an entire draft on defense, hired a new defensive staff and have a DROY candidate in Parsons.

If they are not winning right away and do not end up at least 5 games above .500 considering these elements something is seriously seriously wrong.

The fact that fans here feel like the bucs game is a throw away game because of martin or because they haven't played in the preseason is what happens when the organization proves it can not win on the field but does win in the local media. They have convinced fans that we won't win but will get better every week through constant marketing.

if this team misses the playoffs this year considering this situation they currently have then like I said something is terribly wrong.

They led the league in offense in 2019 and still went 8-8. LVE is worse than he was in 2019. Jaylon is worse than he was in 2019. Demarcus Lawrence is not the pass rushing force he was before he got paid. Your current corners are not better than the ones you had when you were 10-6, 9-7, 8-8.

Yes you got a bunch of high caliber rookies on defense, and it’ll be good to see the players they develop into… in 2-3 years. Banking on rookies to save a historically bad defense is not a great plan.

Dan Quinn could rewrite history and you go 15-2. But to say 9-8 or worse isn’t a strong possibility isn’t objective thinking.

I think people are gonna be surprised at how quickly this line will fall apart and we’re gonna spend next year rebuilding it instead of the secondary and we’ll be like man we’re just a piece away and then in 2022 demarvus Lawrence will have to get released and we’ll need a new edge rusher and we’ll ignore the secondary again.

Your team is a dumpster fire.

Parcells used to say you can't tell until after Thanksgiving.
As if he knew anything on coaching Dallas. Why would anyone listen to these old antics of his.
"you're as good as your record says you are"....proven false many, many times.

try re-reading. And I am no longer a cowboys fan so this your and you stuff does not apply to me.

No I don't think so. Dallas is much better than the Eagles. Sorry for the dose of reality. Yalls season is just about over. Games start tomorrow

I head this last year and you finished 1.5 games ahead of us. I heard this in 2019 and you finished 1 game behind us. I heard this when Carson was injured in 2018 and we still finished 1 game behind you. I heard this in 2017 and we won 4 more games than you.

Is it that Philly keeps overachieving, or is it the other thing?

Only an Eagle fan would think this is evidence of anything. You come on here talking smack and your team has a running back at QB a year after having the worst QB in the league.

Thats an opinion I can get behind

Ill admit, IF I went to the Eagles forum (big if)...I would be a much bigger arss for sure. To your point..I will spot you JG for 10 years and you give us any one of the 30 out of the other coaches (not the dude from the jets he was worse) and I'm betting things might be diferent.

I think they are going to run the ball really well and they have a good defensive line. It is weird how they are perceived as being like a top 5 draft team while the 3 other east teams are only marginally better if that.

their schedule at the end sets them up to have the chance at success if they do not blow it early.

I have not paid as much attention to them though as I usually do though for the same reasons I guess everyone thinks they are terrible, it just kind of feels like that because of the changes.

The things I posted previous are evidence of anything. And we don’t play a RB at QB, we play a QB at QB.

What about the guy who won 6 games with Aaron Rodgers that got him fired in GB, and a greenhorn takes his place and wins 26 in 2 years? Would you really take him over Garrett?
