No more excuses....... of a new coach, Garrett, bad defensive coordinator, QB contract issues, etc. Let's not forget, this time last year, we were hearing a possible Super Bowl run. Maybe some overzealous homer was joking around. No one has been predicting SB's for the Cowboys since coming off the 2016 campaign.

Only thing we know about this team is that offense is top notch and can score points. Can probably say with confidence that the coaching is much better. Defense will be improved, but by how much?

Personally I think we will be much better at stopping the run. Short yardage.....................not sure about.

if this team is fully healthy for 15 games and cant crack atleast 10 wins then i say scrap the plan and start over

We got D-Law and Gregory in shape. Plus others to rush. We can’t get much worse against the run. Although I should not say that. Watch us give up 200 rushing yards.. Lol.

it all depends on how the defense comes together and if moore can stop trying to outsmart himself...just use the weapons you have and don't get cute

Maybe this Joey Galloway trade will work out after all. He did great work in Seattle. With Irvin on one side and Galloway on the other and Aikman still solid, this should be a powerful offense. We won't regret not drafting Randy Moss. The defense is older, but we've still got Darren Woodson and Deion Sanders. Get a pass rush and good coverage and with this offense scoring a lot of points, we're on to the Super Bowl, baby.

Just repeating an old post since I've been waiting so long for this team to get it together. I'll just wait to see if they do anything. Tired of being disappointed.

Agreed. But this is no cake walk for our offense. #1 run D in the NFL last two years. They can get pressure. If our D caves and were down double digits early again, here we go again. The D HAS to get stops or turnovers. If we can shut down the run game we have a chance.
