Why waste a spot on Sprinkle and not use him there

The pitch to Zeke. That is a sure TD if JARWIN holds his block. Moore should never use him in that situation again. Zeke gets in there and we have a completely different game. I think that would have been the difference. Jarwin either needs to get better at blocking, or put Dalton on the field in situations like that.
horrible block or should say no block on Jarwin..its why schultz is more complete TE

Both things can be correct at the same time on this subject, Jarwin completely blew his assignment and whiffed on the block AND Zeke could have and should have beaten the safety in a one on one in the open field.
You cant expect any RB to make a cut that quickly. He had the ball and was hit within a second. Jarwin blew the assignment plain and simple.

Very poor technique on Jarwin's part. Honestly, I was not impressed with him at all last night. Schultz is the better TE.

If the agenda is “the cowboys over overpaying on RB and it is hurting the team”

Then I suppose I also have an agenda.
The agenda is saying because hes making 90 million he should make that play. When no RB in the league makes that play. Regardless of salary. I think he is over paid too. That has nothing to do with the topic though lol.

1. You have no idea that “no” RB in the league makes that play. that was a play RB’s can make. Zeke just didn’t last night.

2. Yeah that’s the whole point Phil. We are paying Zeke a massive contract and he didn’t make an elite level play, when one was there to be made.

it’s detrimental to the team.

Jarwin screwed up on the block for sure, but you have to be able to juke out another player one on one, especially if you are one of the top paid RBs in the league.. when the play first started I thought Zeke was walking in.. make a quick cut to the right and I think he is still in...

The play no one is discussing is the play right around that -- the one right before it? -- where Dak threw to Zeke right at the pylon. That was a walk-in if Dak hits him earlier. But Dak looked to the end zone too long, then when he did go to Zeke, Zeke was too close to the sideline and the ball was too high.

Could have been a better block and Zeke could have made an individual play. RBs can can do make defenders miss. Zeke hasn't been very good in that category since his rookie year.

However, another play people aren't talking about is the one right before it. Dak throwing the ball to Zeke on 2nd down. Had the ball not be high forcing Zeke to jump to catch it, he probably is able to turn and score the TD.
