Same old defense. Same team-coach ineptness

Another game where we should of. Could of. Would of. IMO nothing has changed. Dak throws for a million. Dak takes us down for the winning drive but unfortunately Dak leaves to much time on the board for the other teams quarterback to score on our pathetic defense. The defense was horrible last night minus the 4 turnovers of which one was an int Hail Mary. I also blame our inept GM. He knew going in we needed a shut down corner. So instead of moving up one spot to get him. We lose him. Same with the Tampa Bay defensive tackle we could of had. Jerry sits there like an idiot and either doesn't take the guy or doesn't get aggressive and move up to get him.

Like I said earlier. The game was really lost in the last drive by the offense. We needed one more first down to keep Brady from facing our pathetic defense. And the last 3 play calls were laughable. How bout a screen or Slant? But no.....Moore goes brainless as he always does when he gets any where near the redzone in key situations. Not to mention the key penalties-dropped passes-missed blocks and of course no preseason games for the starters to boot. Yea. I'm pissed. I don't believe in so called moral victories. Especially when it's the same so called moral victories that's been happening for years......Next draft we better darn well take a corner and a DE in that order. And Tank. You making millions and can't get a key sack when we need one the most. Not a Tank but a paper airplane.

The difference in that game was Lavontae David spiking his helmet and it wasn’t called, the refs calling us for holding to stop our drive (fair enough) and then swallowing their whistle when Godwin pushes off at the end.

I think it will take a few weeks and benching Anthony Brown before we see any kind of real progress with the defense. Also, that was Tom Brady they were playing with an elite WR corp similar to ours. New defensive scheme + new players/rookies + Anthony Brown still starting = ugly...

What I saw was a coach that was scared to go for a TD at the end of both halves.

We lost that game because of the head coach being just as scared and conservative as the previous head coach

Why when it comes to Dallas it's always look around the rest of the league. It's only gonna be maybe 6 teams in the NFL worth anything. So we either are one of those 6 or not. I'm so sick of people talking about Dak and the offense when the problem for yeas is our DEFENSE! Brady should of had 40 plus on them last night. Deep pass dropped that was a TD and the fumble at the goal line. Yes. Defense got that turn over but they went the whole game with Brady having a clean pocket. I do believe you can still blitz in the NFL. Or scheme some kind of line stunts to get somebody in there. Especially in the last 90 seconds. But good teams find away to win these games. Bad teams find away to lose them and celebrate a moral victory

I think the D was better and will work. As I said in another thread…My one takeaway is that the D isn’t great but it’s good enough. They made TB drive, which eats clock and our O can keep pace with that. Last year we had to play catch up. I think if the D is serviceable like last night we can win a lot of games
