I couldn't be more proud of our guys last night, even in a losing effort (thanks Zurlein). I thought we played with more intensity and grit as we have in several seasons.
  1. Dak - If you still hate Dak and blame him for losses like last night, you are truly a hater
  2. The offensive line - I was so impressed with how they handled the Bucs elite D-Line (except for undersized Connor Williams who should be traded/released)
  3. Skill positions - Other than some critical drops (esp the one that turned into an interception), we looked great with lots of playmakers!
  4. Defense - Lots of new faces but this defensive roster is not very good. However, they played with a lot of heart and intensity and I am looking fwd to seeing how good they can become. Hats off to Dan Quinn "Medicine Man" for rebuilding a historically bad defense.
The reason we lost was our idiot kicker who missed an extra point and two field goals which cost us the game and then some.

This is going to be an interesting season!

Proud and hopeful as well.

You'd never see this loser mentality during the glory days of Landry and Jimmy.

I'm proud of nothing because they lost.

We are doomed for the rest of this and all of next week

Well looking back over the past 25 seasons, there is no reason to think we will make a deep playoff run (literally the only thing I care about) not because of this year's roster or any the past 25 seasons rosters but because of HOW this franchise is run. I will not believe it until it happens. We catch so much hate from sportswriters and other teams fans because we have not won anything of any consequence for 25 years yet the Jones boys talk Super Bowl every year. To make a deep playoff run under the Jones style of management (i.e., micromanaging every facet of this organization), we have to have very few injuries and have to have some luck. It has been 25 years so our number is bound to come up sooner than later but then again, Jerry's micromanagement is such a great example of how NOT to manage an NFL organization that sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words ...

I have a spare piece of bacon do you want it?

How true but Landry never coached for Jones and Jimmy knew JJ well enough to have it written in his contract that he has the last word in all football matters, not Jerry. Post-Jimmy (other than Parcells who seemed to have a lot more say than previous or subsequent coaches) we have operated with a figurehead hc and our coaching staff has been filled out by Jerry hires, a lot being former players with zero coaching experience. Bottom line is Jerry has lowered the bar so dramatically that simply being competitive seems like something to cheer about. Remember when Clinton was president and we were considered to be the gold standard of excellence?

I’m proud of them too but that all ends if we can’t get a W against the Chargers.

At the end of the day it’s still an L and Dallas is not the team to trust when it comes to consistency.

It’s very possible we could go the rest of the season and not see that kind of effort again because they do read the headlines and they do get big headed quick.

Bro, back in the day Juan Gonzales hits 3 or 4 homers in a game and he is praised even in a loss... Dak played at an elite level and did more than what was needed but our team as a whole let us down. If the defense stops Brady end of game, you would be grasping at straws to find something cheeky to say about Prescott to validate your hate, but because the defense couldn't stop brady, dak still can't win against good teams right?

Do you remember the coming out party for our defense when Charles Hailey when we spanked the skins? That was a real turning point moment kind of like what we saw last night with Dak. Last nights performance now has solidified Dak as an ELITE QB. Only those of you that rely on jaded eye test can't see the smoke through the trees.. Get use to it bro, Dak is has arrived at his rightful place, say it with me it won't hurt.. "DAK IS ELITE"...

Then you have allowed Jerry to dictate your own acceptance. I haven't. I'm never proud of a loss. Only a loser is proud of losing.

Is this you Jerry? If not, he loves you. Gulp! Gulp!
