Turn it around. Are you seriously claiming there's another way to beat Brady?

History would suggest there is not. In years where Tom Brady starts his teams have a greater than 50% chance of making the Super Bowl. Basically if you can’t follow the recipe you need to get lucky.

Correct. So, you must pressure him. No matter what.

Brady had a clean pocket all night. I only remember us even hitting him one time.

Yes, there were other reasons, there are always several, but that was the biggie. If you don't pressure Brady, he wins almost every time. Find a way.
Was disappointed in our pass rush.
You get sliced and diced in today's NFL without it.

Mostly, we lost because our kicker missed an extra point and a 31 yard FG.

My "If 'ifs and buts' were candy and nuts" excuse:
If Lamb catches the pass that was picked, we win this one.

No way any referee crew calls OPI against Brady at home on opening night.

Yeah, but those are details. You're ignoring the fact that no pressure on opposing QB's historically leads to losses.

The two offensive line penalties on Tyron Smith and Connor Williams on that last drive was devastating.

In the end, when you look at the totality of the game, was the Cowboys defeated by a punter? Cowboys started drives on their own 2, 5, and 6 yard lines.

Not ignoring anything, buddy.
I agree with you on QB pressure.
Specifically, pressure up the middle would be great against Brady.

Most of my posts are just blowing off a little steam with an
occasional joke that always upsets a certain group.

I enjoy your posts and probably agree with 99.8% of them.

Hard to rush when there are quality tackles, they run a lot of three step drops, and its Brady making the reads.

Apologies for being a little crass. Our site personal attacker was attacking me last night.

Our own fault. Like Emmit, Zeke is a volume ball carrier. 11 carries is not enough for any ball carrier to establish much of anything. Many times Emmit would average 2-3 YPC in the first half, but we'd keep feeding him and he'd simply wear them down.

Yes, it is. However, if you don't find a way to get to him, you lose. You simply cannot play a coverage type D vs Brady.

That was surprising to me. With Gregory and D-Law I thought at least a few times we could give him fits. Give brady a pocket and about 3 seconds and he will hit someone.
