Look, I probably appreciate DLaw more than most but let's be honest here, it's not like we're losing a Vonn Miller, TJ Watts type of sack player. I mean lately, he's been more of a pressure guy, not a lot of sacks. My point is through scheming and other players stepping up, I'm not we can't replace most of his production. In fact, we make miss his leadership more than production......

BTW......I would NOT rule out a return of Tyrone Crawford ( it's a Jerry type move (lol) )

They need help somewhere 3/4 of the starting dline will be out Sunday. Cant catch a break

THIS is what happens when your front office invests too much in skill players and not enough in trench players/edge rushers. One injury should NOT completely **** you in, around, and up the *** the way it does to this team. Yes, Lawrence would be a big loss to any team, but if we had even a tiny semblance of DEPTH, we wouldn't be AS screwed as we currently appear to be (barring some kind of unexpected standout play by one of our rookie D-Linemen, of course.)

When they draft Jaylon Smith high in the second round and he’s a jag. When you whiff on Taco in the first and let a guy like Watt slip away. These are the times you feel it most Bad whiffs on defensive players and the lack of depth and talent could be the reason another Cowboys season goes down the drain.

- Dlaw gonna miss half the season, probably return late Oct- EarlyNov return.

- Gholston will be new in rotation now though not best play shape

- Armstrong will get start at LDE now,

- i can see Basham getting RDE though i wasn't encouraged with his lone preseason game vs Steelers and he's just now
trying to get back to play form

- Bradley Anae will come behind Dorace/Basham with Gregory out - but he is still quite raw and under developed;

- Kamara likely on call;

- what DEs did we add to the practice squad ?

We were probably going to get rid of Tank and his cap, along with Jaylon next year anyways.

3-4. Randy Gregory is now a rushing 3-4 outside LB and so is Micah Parsons a la Von Miller and Demarcus Ware.

Wolf Hunter in the middle with Neal and/or Jaylon.

Bohana or whatever other plugger in the middle, Osi and the other undersized DT's playing end. It's like it was meant to be.

Please say it louder for the folks having panic attacks over Lawrence being out. The defense will be just fine without him. Perfect post.

We've been hit with injuries and Covid 19 ..but at least thus far, injuries not season ending ... but just only one game and rash of unfortunates.
