Lol you don't even know what journeyman QB is. The 2nd year QB put up possibly the best rookie season ever statistically
No possibly about it. He statistically 100% had the best rookie season ever and looks even more improved this year.

I mean, a lot of ya'll aren't gonna like to hear this, but Herberts rookie season last year is as good if not better than any of Dak's seasons. Some guys are just THAT good.

I don't even know if I should take this thread serious with the whole journeyman comment but i'll try.

What I observed from that Commanders/Chargers game.......don't let the score fool you. Commanders defense didn't look good. We all projected them to be good so either Chargers offense is that good or Commanders defense is not living up to the hype. I just know I didn't see Chase Young AT ALL that game. Chargers receivers looked good. Had some drops but I see no reason to believe our secondary should contain them. Herbert looked money. Not really sure about the Chargers defense based on one week but Bosa is going to eat up Steele and whoever the hell else they have over there. Expect another gameplan from the Cowboys for Dak to get the football out as fast possible.

You guys are scared of a second year QB? 8 ball. Corner pocket. Rack’em losers. Lol.

There you go. Way to recover. Love the confidence.
Dak ($40M man) >>>> Hebert (or is it Herbert).

Charges don’t have any RB close to Elliott either? Right? Who do the Chargers have at RB? Ekeler? :)

Nope. He really did mean "a journeyman QB". He wasn't confused. He confirmed it.

he just doesn't know what the word "journeyman" means.

I'm not saying we'll lose but recent injuries & suspensions have it looking more likely. I also wouldn't be surprised if this "journeyman" hangs 35+ on us.

Rivers looked really good at 1st also. Herbert looks really good. Let's see where it leads.

I think Hebert can pick us apart if the secondary looks like it did in TB.
MM must have Hooker active this week. I think he could have made a difference in the TB game.

With no pass rush, unless the back ups surprise us, Herbert will have all day to throw.
Our offense best score TD's on every possession.

This should probably be moved to the drama forum. It’s full of falsehoods apparently intended to incite reactions.

I don't think there is much debate that he clearly had the best rookie season ever in some categories ...... while only playing 15 games.

Herbert is a legit QB in this league, kid has some special arm talent and will take the Charges to some good places. Definitely not a journeyman qb. He broke the rookie throwing TD record for crying out loud

add to that we don't even have our premier "pass rushers" in dlaw and gregory so he will have all day to throw in the pocket to some legit WR's named Keenan Allen and Mike Williams

and Let's not forget about Joey Bosa, a top 5 EDGE rusher in the league last season, and we don't even have LA Collins

I don't think so. I think it will be a close game, but one where the Cowboys prevail. I watched the Chargers/Washington game. What I saw in the Chargers is a smart team that can run the ball and is capable of making plays on defense. Justin Hebert didn't look incompetent to me. Even his backup made some good plays, and they defeated Washington, who has a very good defense.

In short, we can win this. But I would be shocked if we blew them out. I wouldn't say the Chargers are as good as the Super Bowl Champion Bucs, but I wouldn't call them a pushover either. Our team needs to play well to win.

Whatever. Herbert is a young, inexperienced QB, who is going to make some mistakes. Go ahead and slobber over Herbert if you like.

Some of you slobbering over him are the same people who talk about Dak’s garbage stats. Lol.
