See. This is the biggest BS ever. He had surgery and had prescribed meds. Had permission to go to funeral by the team and the league didn’t care and counted it as missed. They tested his way to much, it’s insane what they are doing to get back at JJ. Who by the way brings more money to the NFL than any other team. Pretty much pays this jerk commissioners over priced paycheck. And it’s a private company so they can’t sue but the NFLPA should have been all over this. At the end of the day the NFL will say oops sorry.

I suspect Jerry put an end to any real fight as a result of what became of the Elliott mess.

Goodell does what he wants, everyone agreed to that, and this is the result.

The owners nor players care about right and wrong during CBA negotiations, only money.

I also don't see how he isnt playing if a formal appeal was filed, so I doubt it was.

Given all that, the agent/s are still all fired up.

Jerry told everyone there will be no fight against city hall.

Come on dude....the more that's coming out on this the more it looks like a very unfair setup against him....missed test bc he was in the hospital??? Positive for codine bc he was prescribed and is out of major surgery?

Give me a break, he's getting shafted
Ok...let me clarify....

I'm just as pissed as everyone else over the unfairness, and Goodell being able to do whatever he wants.

Keep in mind that while WE were blindsided by all this, it started a while ago.

There are nearly 2k players in the NFL, and with turnover, closer to 10k since the current rules have been in place.

Why has this happened to no one else??

Whichever happened first, the funeral or surgery, it counted as a fail, which is the reason for more frequent testing....the the other as a second fail, which meant he may as well have moved into the piss lab.

You can't not show up.. Same as turning down a breathalyzer. Arrangements could have been made if he was leaving town I'm sure, especially for a funeral.

Now, the Cowboys probably should have had someone on this, and they probably did.....some unpaid intern who was previously fired from whataburger, or the like.

In the end, Collins needs to adhere to the rules and have understood the situation.

Wish I didn't feel that way. Much easier to direct my angst toward Goodell.

Yep. JJ called for his job and the sissy jealous owners wouldn’t sign. So now he goes after The Cowboys any chance he gets. They tested him way to much, he basically has no life because they could test him any day. And they do. What’s crazy is it’s a profit sharing league. They all kick in what they have and split it evenly and JJ kicks in more then the others (there is a word for it but can’t use it here) and you would think the players and commissioner would be appreciative but they are not.

There is no justification for blaming this on LC.
Failed one drug test and decided against taking at least two others.

As insensitive as it may sound, those are the rules.

He and the team should know this.

If anything is unfair, it's the length of the suspension.

That I'll agree with.....but everyone knows Goodell and how he is with this stuff.

Not showing up for drug tests is beyond dumb.

Using the excuse that the "team sent us home" is a clear lack of chain of command comprehension.

Really, I hate feeling this way.....but I can't see Collins as blameless here.

Undergoing surgery counts as a fail and you just brush it off. Tells us all we need to know about YOU.

Get used to it. The NFL league office is full Cowboy haters and heavily populated with NYG lovers. Being fair has nothing to do with anything with these folks. Elliott is a turd but he was skrewed by these folks in an attempt to skrew the team as is going on now.

Don't think the long stretches in 2017 (7 games) and 2018 (11 games) without the opposing team getting an offensive line holding call is coincidence. Owners like Blank and Kraft despise Dallas and the Rooney klan is not far behind. Again, this is a good ol boys club not a fairly run democratic society. They have agendas and do what they want from Park Avenue, NY.

Does anybody think it will be over turned? Whether or not it's legit, how on earth with Rog dodge the forcing him to sit for one game, and then back track saying sorry by mad you can play again sir. This pathetic league will onlyl suffer another black eye if they do so, and we know how they feel about that
