Next Thursday has anyone here had that done? A funny thing is she has to fart before they release her after the surgery . That is what her Doctor told her. Do they have fart monitors or will they just take her word on it?

I've got a cousin that's had a few hernia surgeries but I don't get into particulars with him. Try to get that fart saved on your phone so you can play it back at romantic dinners, holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and family functions.

Whatever your wife does, make sure she follows the doctor's orders after she has the surgery. My ex-wife had multiple hernia surgeries and almost without fail she would start feeling better after surgery and start living her life "normally". I started feeling no sympathy towards her because of that. When the doctor says no lifting heavier than 5 lbs he means it. Her dog weighed 9 lbs and she picked the dog up all the time right after surgery. I used to tell her she must love getting her belly cut open because she was doing the things that make her have her belly cut open again.

This would never have had to happen if you didn't make her plow the fields by herself.

Concerning the fart requirement. Be prepared for a shart instead.
Bring a roll of Charmin. That single-ply toilet paper at the hospital doesn't
clean worth a shhh... uh, just be ready... lol

Careful with those post procedure fart requests. I was told I couldn't leave the recovery room after a colonoscopy until I let rip. I did get to leave, but not before leaving a little more than expected.

She is in surgery I left cant stand hospitals especially now days Good place to go if you want to get sick Plus I had to come home to get a jacket it is ridged in that place

Maybe they have an infrared camera to verify it.

It is normal and to make sure the bowels are getting back to normal. Tell her not to fake it, make sure she does for real

They can always use talcum powder to make sure it’s real.
