McCarthy not using a timeout there was one of those situations that exemplify how truly great players can elevate average coaches.

Peyton as a player would have been yelling in the ear of whoever his coach was at the time (Dungy/Kubiak/Adam Gase) to call timeout there and give him the ball back. Coach calls timeout. Announcers laud the coach as a genius.

I was ok with not calling a timeout on 3rd down cause you only have 2 and need 1 to get in FG range....... but to not call a timeout on 4th down with over a minute left. Try to get some more points cause eagles get the ball after half time

the only reason the eagles are even in this game is because of field position situation when our offense was pinned deep.

I still feel uneasy. It's only a 13 point game in which we utterly dominated them. We gave them their only score and probably should have 8 more and yet here we are where one drive and a TD they are only down 6. Hope we make solid halftime adjustments and do not go conservative.
